We received a very warm welcome. The rooms and also the lounge are very tastefully and modernly furnished. The breakfast was excellent and was prepared with much love. The location of the house is exceptional and the view of the lake and the surrounding hills simply breathtaking. If you are on Harris, Grimisdale Guest House is an absolute recommendation!

THE place to stay. We had such a fantastic time here and would certainly recommend Vallay Sands. Hosts were wonderfully attentive, breakfast was delicious and plentiful- even enough to take away for lunch. Accommodation spacious and comfortable and the view amazing! This is a highly recommended B&B. We’ll be back.

Paul and Lisa were so friendly and welcoming. I usually only stay in hotels when on business . This was my use of B & B. The facilities were excellent, I had my own lounge with big screen TV and the bedroom had its own private shower room. The bed was so comfortable and the decor was fresh and homely. The views are simply amazing. 1st class hosts, breakfast and nothing was to much to ask for. Highly recommended.

Exceptional accommodation. Very clean. The kitchen had everything you could want. We could have cooked a roast dinner if we wished. The continental breakfast items offered were very generous in quantity and variety. This property is the best of its type we have stayed in. The washing machine was a bonus Highly recommend this place to all. Andrew and Kathleen are very friendly and great hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here
