Breakfast was outstanding with lots of variety. Theresa was very accommodating and picked us up by car and shuttled us back and forth to Monaghan where we had scheduled a plant visit at CombiLift. We had a delightful time with her and the owner of the home where she is running the B&B. The view from our window overlooked the lake and we were overwhelmed by the beautiful landscape. We would highly recommend staying at this location if someone is looking for a unique experience. Nothing like Irish hospitality.

Wow, Elizabeth, you have a gem of a property located close to town with lovely surrounding countryside. We arrived extremely late at night and you were there to welcome us, as tired as we were, we could not have asked for a better welcome. We had a wonderful room with all amenities and bathroom needs waiting for us. A wonderful night's sleep was had on a very comfortable bed. On our two days stay Elizabeth prepared a very personal breakfast for us each morning that was to die for. We left well fed for the day. With nice grounds to sit out in the sunshine or the guests personal reading room, adequate on-site parking. We wished we could have stopped longer but we had to head off to a certain Golf tournament that was being held at Royal Portrush. We look forward to returning at the first opportunity. I had a fantastic stay at Grove B&B. Paula, the host, was super friendly and welcoming. The place was spotless, and I was impressed with how clean everything was. The bed and pillows were so comfy. I honestly haven’t slept that well in ages. I have trouble sleeping so a good bed, pillow, and ambiance is very important to me. The bathroom was spotless, really clean, and well-organized, which made it easy to get ready in the morning. I also had an amazing view from my room, which added to the peaceful vibe of the place. Breakfast was great too. There was a lot to choose from. Sausage, bacon, eggs, plus cereals, butter, jam, milk, and coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious. Paula also let me keep my luggage at the B&B for a few extra hours, which was really helpful. The place is super quiet and calm, with no noise at all. It’s the perfect spot to relax. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We have been treated like family. We traveled with our 5 months old boy and everything was ready for accomodate him as well as for taking care of all his needs. The breakfast was prepared with cure and love making us just feeling home. Lastly we forgot our watch and it was mail us back the day after, an incredible kind gesture

Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. The grounds were great, a small creek running thru, sheep in the pasture, the Inn itself was beautiful. Very well cared for. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The management and staff were friendly and were happy to get us whatever we needed. The pub was where we spent many an hour where we were able to get some research work done. Fire in the fireplace every night. The dinner meals we had were yummy. Breakfast was also good with good choices. All said, it was a great four nights and we will be back!
