This farm stay is the ultimate destination when visiting this region. Surrounded by nature and offering a breathtaking view, we could even see the Kangchenjunga from our bed. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. We particularly cherished our dinner and breakfast on the hotel's terrace. However, it's essential to have plenty of patience because communicating with the staff can be challenging, and understanding each other is even more so. The farm stay is located approximately 35 minutes on foot from the nearest town, and the staff wasn't very helpful in arranging transportation, even a taxi (referred to as a tourist vehicle). One important note: Despite what booking.com may indicate about free booking and cancellation, a 10% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

The property is superb, nestled in a serene and peaceful location with a breathtaking view of Mount Kanchenjunga. From the moment I arrived, Shriya and Shwetank were incredibly warm and welcoming, and felt at home right away. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. The café has a charming vibe — a perfect spot to work in peace during the day and unwind over drinks in the evening. It’s also a great place to make memories and connect with fellow travelers. The food they serve is wholesome and homely, and I have to give a special mention to Shwetank’s desserts and Shriya’s momos — both were absolutely lip smacking! And don’t miss their Thongba, a traditional drink that’s a must-try! What made the experience even more special were the resident pets — Milo, Murphy, Munmun, and Ginger, who kept me lovely company. Oh, and the coffee is top-notch too! Thank you for making my stay truly memorable. I’ve found my home away from home.
