A gem in the middle of nowhere, over the top, worth every single euro spent. Definitely the most genuine accommodation you can find in Iceland, surrounded by sheep, dogs, and their pet reindeer. The restaurant is as sublime as the place itself.

Wonderful stay and wonderful host! Very cozy and large house, so we were able to rest a lot after some longer hikes. Ultimately great host, who told us a lot instightful info about the eastern part of Iceland as well as he mentioned a set of hidden gems. It is a must stay if you travel through north-east/east part of the island. It is also a great place in terms of close location to different attractions (Stuðlagil canyon, Hengifoss). Highly recommended!

A perfect boutiqe hotel in middle of nowhere. Everything was perfect - whole house design (modern nordic design with Icelandic touch). A very good stop to visit Studlagil Canyon.
