The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Hotel La Spiaggia is on the Ligurian Sea coast, 10 metres from the beach. Offering a bar and a patio the hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Monterosso al Mare town centre. Perfect location for visiting the Cinque Terre and enjoying a beach swim at the end of the day. Close to train station, in front of beaches. It was perfection. The staff were amazing and helpful, the breakfast was excellent. The air conditioning was a welcome addition. We arrived by car and for a smallish daily fee, you can reserve a spot, leave your car safely tucked away and explore by train, boat and on foot. I would 100% recommend this place.

Just 100 metres from Fegina Beach, Hotel Villa Adriana is set among palm trees. It offers a Ligurian restaurant, a pool, and classically furnished rooms with an LCD TV. Probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The views were amazing and the room was comfortable to stay in when it was raining.

Offering panoramic views of the Cinque Terre coastline, Albergo Suisse runs a free scheduled shuttle service to Monterosso, 1 km away. All air-conditioned rooms come with satellite TV. Parking is... Clean, comfortable, excellent views, great breakfast and all staff helpful and friendly.

The location could not have been more perfect. If you want to stay in La Spezia, this is a 3 minute walk from the Train station. There are trains that run throughout the day that will take you to all 5 islands of cinque terre! Alternatively, it’s also a 2-3 minute walk to other restaurants and the town in La Spezia! The room was clean and bathroom was very spacious. Everything was perfect!
