From the walk in to the the elevator, up to the lobby, to the view overlooking the city at the reception, to the amazing view from our room itself, we can say little more than “Wow!” Everything felt upscale, and comfortable, and well sized for two people. We stayed on the 28th floor; slept and woke up to the city of Nagoya. The gym was nice to use, as was the sauna and the laundry facilities.

The room was clean with a nice view and I loved that they left me in the room the newspaper everyday.

Feeling Like a Part of Asuke – A Heartwarming Stay Located just a 10-minute walk from Korankei, the hotel offers excellent access, making it an ideal base for exploring the area, especially during the autumn foliage season. The owner’s warm and welcoming personality adds to the charm of this stay. They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

The holiday home features 3 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, a washing machine, and 2 bathrooms with a hot tub. Towels and bed linen are featured in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. The house was well supplied with conveniences like selection of coffee pods (for the coffee machine) and sugar/creamer, plastic and trash bags, condiments, paper towels and tissues. There was air conditioning for every room, including the living/dining/kitchen, which worked effectively although the weather was very hot (up to 36C during the day). Most importantly for me, the house had a car parking lot.

I loved the room, very centrally located with close proximity to the Christmas markets and shopping streets nearby. It is also very well connected as Yobocho station is right outside of the frint door. The swimming pool and thermal bath facilities whilst small were of a good standard. The breakfast spread was also great, wide selection of Japanese and Western choices. The room, shower and the bed in particular was extremly luxurious and comfortable.

More than enough room. Convenient stores nearby. Subway nearby. And place was very clean. We traveled on a holiday and we were so happy to be able to check in early. Junichi and Kazuko are the best hosts ever. I loved them, their house is a wonderful japanese dream house. I had for breakfast the most delicious "focaccia" bread of my life even if I'm italian. Junichi is a great cook and Kazuko help me a lot giving me information about ceramic and galleries. I had two memorable nights at ヒルズハウスセカンド and I will come back soon to Tokoname.
