From the walk in to the the elevator, up to the lobby, to the view overlooking the city at the reception, to the amazing view from our room itself, we can say little more than “Wow!” Everything felt upscale, and comfortable, and well sized for two people. We stayed on the 28th floor; slept and woke up to the city of Nagoya. The gym was nice to use, as was the sauna and the laundry facilities.

It was the first hotel room in Japan that had decent lighting options (the name of this hotel is perfectly chosen). Also the walls were thicker than usually in Japanese Hotels, so that I could sleep without earplugs. Everything inside the room was carefully placed and it was very relaxing to sit on the little "couch". Even if the room was small, they were enough space for all my luggage to be placed in a tidy maner. The shower was great, too! The café/lounge area between the bookshelves was very cozy. The free welcome drink to try that area out was a nice touch. The staff was young and friendly. :)

It features 5 restaurants, free WiFi and free parking. Overall, the hotel was great. Rooms are quite big. We had the view of the park. Toiletries and PJs were provided. I personally loved that it’s one station away from Nagoya Station so I don’t have to deal with the crowds (I try to avoid this stn 😊). Staff were courteous and helpful. Loved our stay here. We will definitely choose to stay here again :)

Wonderful historic 150yr old renovated house that has a lot of character! The hosts are so nice, they gave me lots of information about neighborhood that turned out to be traditional ceramics making place for a long time and I ended up exploring it for half a day (and left Nagoya sightseeing for another time)! They even made vegetarian breakfast and also gave me a ride to the airport for a very reasonable price. I really had a great time, thank you so much!
