The rooms are spacious with great beds and a lot of room for clothes and luggage storage. We had a large window overlooking the mountains behind Hiroshima. Bathroom is excellent, with a separate shower room and toilet room. The hotel lobby is beautiful and hosts a small cafe/bar with great ambience. We didn’t try the pool or gym but they are free. Location is in walking distance from the Peace Park and the main shopping area.

I can't think of anything that wasn't great about this hotel. Standouts include the rooms themselves (very spacious), the beds were very comfortable, the location was quite good (walkable distance to the A-bomb dome), all for a great price. The amenities and the free laundry were a cherry on top.

I love that our room is big! Beds are comfy, and all the basic necessities in a hotel room are provided and more! Staff are friendly and helpful too. I had to check-in past midnight and I gave them a heads up, and the staff was there happily greeted and checked us in!

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk from the castle. I could even see a piece of the castle between the houses from the balcony of the room. The staff is super polite, sincere and friendly and speaks excellent English. I was glad to have the opportunity to practice Japanese and I am grateful that they all used simple Japanese. I was given a complimentary coffee upon check-in. In the evening, it was interesting to try shōchū for the first time in the hotel's bar. The design of the room is incredible, very modern and cozy! The walls in the room are thin, so you can hear other guests talking, but no one was noisy, so I slept well. The lavender soap also helped. For breakfast, I chose a hot dog and tea. It was delicious and filling. You can buy some denim staff at the hotel. Only after the tour of the castle did I learn that it is locally produced, and I regret not buying anything. Well, next time! I really liked Fukuyama Castle, Sanzo Inari Shrine, art and history museums. I didn't have time to visit the Holocaust Education Center and Fukuyama Auto & Clock Museum, and my visit in Kusado Inari Shrine was very short, so I would like to travel to Fukuyama again. And next time I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Fukuyama and kind people of Fukuyama will stay in my heart.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Great location, lovely staff who showed you around, curry dinner/breakfast & comfy bed. Also luggage storage was awesome with lockers to leave your belongs before check in/check out.

The lady at the reception with good command of English, and the gentleman who helped us with our luggage (also with good command of English) or extremely welcoming and helpful. They even helped us to book a cab for the next day. It was the best thing about the hotel. And the view is great, especially the garden behind the hotel.

The stuff was very kind and helpful, the place very clean and comfortable. Great view from the room and the shuttle is very comfortable.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Everything!!! I can't explain how this stay exceeded our expectations. The kindest people, most beautiful view, cozy feeling and just made us wish we stayed there longer.
