I was so impressed by the hospitality at this place! The oweners have such a warm welcome and friendly! It's location is great to travel around temples in Hiraizumi! The facility is so clean and Japanese tatami room was so cozy! Moreover, the breakfast was so delicious!

This place is incredible, a beautiful traditional Japanese house. The man who welcomed us was very kind, and the house has all the information you need. He really thought of everything! In the morning, the breakfast he prepared for us was really delicious. I’m very happy I stayed here, and if I ever come back to this area, I’ll definitely return

히라즈미 내에 자리한 Minpaku Hiraizumi에서 머물러보세요. 숙소는 주손지에서 2.3km, 타코쿠 세이코우지 사원에서 5.5km, 이치노세키역에서 9km 거리에 있으며, 정원, 테라스 등을 갖추고 있습니다. 에어컨이 제공되는 이 숙소는 모쓰지에서 1km 내 거리에 있으며, 투숙객은 무료 Wi-Fi, 구내 전용 주차장 등을 이용할 수 있습니다. Minpaku Hiraizumi is fantastic. Location is less than 10mins from Hiraizumi station and everything in the town is within walking distance, except for Takkoku-no-iwaya for which you can try public transportation or rent a bike near the station. The house is traditional Japanese but with modern amenities super nice and very comfortable. Room is spacious with an AC, remote controlled lights and a very comfortable futon bed. The couple living there is lovely and of a rare kindness, truly embodying Japanese hospitality. When I stayed there it rained all day and they game me a lift to Takkoku-no-iwaya by car, patiently waiting for me visiting the location. They prepare an amazing homemade traditional breakfast and were nice to chat with as well, available for anything I neeced. My time there was short but I can't recommend this place enough if you're in Hiraizumi.

The service offered by the staff at Shikitei was incredible - and simply has to be experienced. This hotel is a short drive out of Morioka, and we highly recommend an afternoon trip to Lake Tazawa. On your return, you can enjoy the wonderful indoor or outdoor onsen. Plenty of information is provided, so don't worry if you have not used an onsen before. While the hotel is not new, it is kept very clean and has a charming style. The breakfast is an experience worth traveling for in itself, with many different dishes served and a card explaining the local origin of many of the ingredients. The Japanese style room was very comfortable and a highlight of our trip.
