Clean and traditional house, we had the wonderful stay in there.

Sen Guesthouse is located in a beautiful and peaceful location on Shodoshima, with a gorgeous view overlooking the bay and mountains on the far side. Upon entering our room and opening the window, we were greeting by a refreshing cool breeze coming off the water and the sounds of birds chattering in the forested hills around us. Our stay here was incredibly relaxing and they had everything we could possibly want. Fantastic!

Absolutely fantastic and new accommodation with a terrace and amazing view. Beautiful sunset and sunrise on the beach. Right next to Shodoshima Olive Garden. Everything is brand new and the place is fully equipped including kitchen with induction hob, rice cooker, microwave etc. Washing machine available. Very kind host, easy check in instructions. Supermarket about a 20 min bus away.

The hosts and other guests were very friendly and the accommodation is in a beautiful (albeit a little inconvenient to get to) location. The breakfast they offer is also delicious.

Great place to meet and connect with people from all walks of life! The common area was conducive for mingling. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay on shodoshima!

Remote hostel a little uphill in a beautiful bay. A cozy bayside area with hammocks - feel free to swim there. Super cozy living room. Patio with a nice view. Very, very clean and tidy place. Warm and committed owner - helping you perfectly if you need any suggestions. A few buses going from and there every day. Larger supermarket in the town nearby. A few food and drink options as well as breakfast purchasable in the hostel. Rarely stayed in such a good place.

I rarely write reviews but I do this time, as this guest house was fantastic! I stayed with my friends, enjoyed their lovely private beach by ourselves, and had a great time chatting in the cozy living room and the balcony, surrounded by beautiful nature. The craft beer the owner brewed in collaboration with the local brewery Mame Mame beer was excellent and I was so excited as a huge craft beer fan! The owners were friendly, professional and knew everything about the island. Talking with them made me want to return to Shodoshima again soon.

It’s a special experience to stay at a old modern style nostalgic Japanese x Moroccan house. Very unique and cute interior. Owner is very helpful and heart warming interaction.
