This was truly one of the most beautiful houses I've ever stayed in. Every detail was gorgeous and even better than the pictures online. The location was great-- just on the edge of town so it was quiet and peaceful, but close enough to stores and restaurants. We could hardly force ourselves to leave, and hope to go back soon.

To me at the age of 80 this is the new kind of accommodation (unlike traditional hotel or ryokan in Japan) which meets our requirements. Being a self contained lodge with all necessary facilities such as washing/dry machine and fully equipped kitchen we did't miss anything more. Since it was a low season many of local restaurants were not fully open, so self catering is good to go.

Beautiful old Japanese house, perfectly modernised. Beautiful garden. Close to Tonosho Port, not far from Angel Road. Wonderful meal cooked by house chef, definitely worth doing. All staff were incredibly helpful, helping us organise activities in the islands, and providing delicious snacks and food. Strongly recommended.

Located on a small hillside, Angel Road Hotel was quite a surprise when we first arrived. The entire property is a standalone house surrounded by a spacious open area. In front of the house there is a very large parking space—we counted as many as 14 parking spots. Next to the parking area, there is also a well-equipped BBQ space with facilities, which would be perfect for gatherings with family and friends. Even more impressive, every room in the hotel has large windows facing the famous Angel Road. During the day, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea and the sandbar, which appears and disappears with the changing tides. Simply sitting in the room and admiring this scenery already makes the stay worthwhile. Besides the stunning view, the hospitality of the management staff was also very memorable. They carefully explained all the accommodation details upon our arrival. What touched us even more was that they personally came by both on the check-in day and the check-out day to greet us and make sure everything was fine. Their thoughtful and warm service truly made our stay feel welcoming and special.
