We loved our stay at the Villa Romduol - this is an amazing place that offers an incredible value - it was the best place we stayed at during our travels in Cambodia (so far) yet the cheapest which is just crazy. It's so beautiful and relaxing - both our room and the common areas and outdoor garden are so beautiful and the villa staff / owners so incredibly nice, kind and generous. We spent most of our time just staying put and enjoying it all, as it was so beautiful and convenient with delicious meals served in the beautiful surroundings that we were not keen on going out at all - except for bike riding in the nearby countryside which was amazing and the free bikes provided by the Villa were excellent and perfect for the local roads (as these were quite rough and sandy in places...). We were sad to leave, as we had already booked to stay elsewhere in / near Kampot - the Villa Romduol and the owners' family will be fondly remembered :)

Eugene the owner was wonderful, he arranged a great half day tuk tuk trip to see the local area (hidden cave was terrific) and our connecting transport to Ha Tien. A genuinely lovely bloke. The room was light and spacious , good aircon and 15 min walk to the riverfront where there are lots of bars and restaurants.

The pool is super clean Staff excellent 👍 Rooms really clean to Headed there for Christmas for 4 days Just love it there

We loved our stay at Cambodhi guesthouse! Our room was super cozy with the most comfortable bed, balcony and beautiful details and colour concept. The vegan food was extraordinary delicious! As we fell in love with Kampot and the guesthouse we almost stayed for two weeks and could try almost everything from the menu and we loved it all! We‘re already missing the hearty breakfast and the peanut butter smoothie. :) But besides the room and food the heart and soul of the guesthouse are Tola & Patrick! They helped us with every question or request we had, gave us lovely recommendations for Kampot and we had wonderful and deep talks with them on the beautiful rooftop terrace. They are two beautiful souls that will do everything to make your stay perfect. We can truly say that we came as guests and left as friends. We can highly recommend to stay at Cambodhi guesthouse, as it will feel more like a home away from home. Thank you so much for everything! 💙 P.S. For everyone who‘s concerned if it’s too far from the „city center“. It’s quite easy to rent a motorbike, bicycle or you can catch a grab for really small money. So no need to worry. We even walked a couple of times. Took us only around 10 min. :)

We had a truly pleasant stay with Soriya and her family. Soriya and Joffrey were consistently thoughtful and attentive, and we appreciated the care they put into making our visit smooth and comfortable. Interaction with Daniel and three sweet dogs added to the homey experience. The breakfasts were very generous, we especially loved the smoked duck breast. Joffrey’s homemade pineapple jam was my husband’s favorite. The location was excellent — convenient for getting around while still feeling tucked away. The homestay was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax after long days out. For the quality of the accommodation and the overall experience, the value was outstanding. We rented a moto from them during our stay and took a couple of tours with Soriya’s tuk-tuk. During the tours, Soriya took the time to guide us through local customs, including how to make offerings at the pagodas, which added meaningful context to our visit. Overall, a comfortable, quiet, well-located stay with great value. We’re glad we chose this homestay and would happily return. Highly recommended.

The host Olaf and his family were very welcoming...very clean comfortable well run establishment...the bed was even comfortable (rare for Cambodia)... also the breakfast was excellent. Olaf can help you with most things, motorbike hire,trips, tickets etc...even has a printing service for visas etc. A very quiet relaxing guest house. Great value.

The hosts are truly charming people who do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Thanks to them. The location of the hotel on the other side of the river is great: you just have to cross the small bridge to be right in the center. The guest house is brand new and you can rent scooters in very good condition for cheap. In short, a great place!
