His dedication and professionalism were remarkable, and I deeply thank him for making my time in Phnom Penh so smooth and enjoyable. At the same time, the entire team deserves praise. Ratanak, Dennie, and everyone else I met at the hotel were equally wonderful friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. On top of the amazing service, the hotel surprised me with a free upgrade to a superior room, which made my stay even more comfortable. The facilities are excellent: a beautiful rooftop pool, a generous breakfast with an unforgettable view over Phnom Penh, and a location that couldn’t be more convenient. To me, this is by far the best hotel in Phnom Penh, and I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and true hospitality. Set in a restored French colonial villa adjacent to the Royal Palace, Palace Gate Hotel & Resort offers accommodations in Phnom Penh with views of the Tonle Sap River. From the moment I arrived at Palace Gate I felt so welcomed and valued. The welcome drink and cold towel was very much appreciated, and the check in process was very smooth. The whole feel of the hotel was calm and serene, little a lovely little oasis in the middle of a bustling city. The room I had was beautiful, clean, spacious and with a wonderful view of the river. Despite being in a busy area, the room was quiet and I couldnt hear traffic or outside noise at all. Slept really well on a very comfortable bed. The pool was fantastic, swam every day, with some delicious cocktails poolside in the evening. Pool snacks were very tasty too! I dodnt get the chance to eat at the restaurant while I was staying but the food there looked amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very attentive - special thanks to Sokkeang who gave me some great advice for my stay. Would definitely go back :)

Overall a great stay in a lovely setting. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There are two pools, where one can swim and relax. I absolutely adored the setting of the old Victorian house. Very clean, peaceful and yet very centrally located. Amazing breakfast included and the staff was very helpful and acommodating. Will gladly return.
