Great location! Fantastic sea views from 17th floor! Room was very clean and tidy, great to have a washing machine and dryer. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores close by. Able to walk to avail village, lighthouse observatory and also sunrise rock.

The Hotel is located very well. You can reach the beach and the city centre by foot or public transport. The room was clean and the beds super comfortable. And the view was also great. The toilet is separated from the shower and the bathtub. You get robes and towels and drinking water.

Very clean. Towels changed every day, as default. Nice breakfast- toast with eggs, cheese and strawberry jam + coffee/juice. Super nice owner, helped us with a matter not related to our stay free of charge, which we greatly appreciate. Nice location just next to intercity bus station.

It is house with at least two rooms for rent. The rooms are on the first floor, the hosts live at the bottom. The rooms have no common walls with other rooms and you cannot hear anything through the floor so the place is very quiet. The house is o a glade, surrounded by trees, protected by a thick layer of trees from the road, so there is really peace and quiet. There is lots of space to park. There is a river and a hill really close - we didn't visit them, but they looked really nice. The rooms are very nice. We had two really big and comfortable beds, a refrigerator, a thing to heat up food, a bathroom with shampoo, gel, toothpaste. There is floor heating and AC, the floor heating is enough to heat up the room. The WiFi works very well. The hosts are super friendly, the host made us feel like we are family - showed us where he travelled, organized a barbecue, told very interesting stories and even gave us some kimbap when we left. We really felt at home, it was a great atmosphere. Even before we arrived the host offered us help with anything we needed. We were also offered slippers. We would definitely return to Heidi if we one day come back to Korea.

This is an absolutely delightful hostel, located near the Sokcho coast, at walking distance from the intercity bus terminal. The rooms are basic but clean. The kitchen has a very soothing ambience. I liked the breakfast, especially the homemade strawberry jam. Judith is an absolute gem. She gives the best travel and hiking tips to all the guests. She didn't charge me for my laundry, so thanks a lot! I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone traveling in Sokcho.

A very good experience! The red house is a very special place, mostly thanks to its very special and friendly host. We had a very good time here, and found the service offered to have a very good value for money. The house is at a walking distance from the national park and the bus going between there and Sokcho passes every 20-25 minutes. A small store is conveniently located at 200 meters from the Red house, and remains open until 23:00. The host was extremely gentle, even for Korean standards, and kindly replied to all our (sometimes unnecessary) questions. I recommend visiting his manga/manhua collection in the basement.

The House Hostel is located in Sokcho. Free WiFi access is available. The bus terminal is 5 minutes' walk away. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning.

10 out of 10. The host is very kind and helpful. Thanks to his advices, I had wonderful experience hiking Seoraksan. The place is 10mins walk from Sockcho intercity bus terminal and only 5mins away from the Suboktap bus stop where you can catch the bus to Seoraksan. It is also very near to the Central market where you can enjoy local food. The room is equipped with air-conditioner and a small fridge, the bed is warm and the bathroom is clean.
