The place is a little piece of heaven in dusty Sigiriya. Staff are friendly and hard working, the pool is huge and delicious and the rooms are big. They make good food at the place and catered to our vegan food request perfectly! The WiFi is also fast, so it’s great!

Jaya and Sujee were our amazing hosts. We arrived after a very long night caught in the floods and they were so welcoming and immediately gave us coffee & breakfast and had our room ready. They were so helpful with recommendations of what to do and where to visit and even gave us a ride to Lion Rock.

Nice and friendly hosts, comfortable beds with mosquito nets, just 10 min walking from a restaurant but at night it can be a bit scary for some people to walk alone (super dark), overall a great experience!

We had a great 3 night stay at Lion See Hotel. Great accommodation,walking distance for restaurants and shops but off the main strip so very quiet at night. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The A/C worked perfectly and the water temperature and pressure were flawless which is not always the case when travelling. Bed was very comfortable and pool was refreshing in the hot afternoons. The team there were so helpful and the included breakfast was great with a little bonus of a view of lions rock every morning while we ate. Definitely recommend!
