After a very tiring journey, Adique Resort was a fantastic landing spot to recover from the journey. A beautiful boutique hotel, a wonderfully spacious room with a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. Do not search for 4 or 5 star hotels. This hotel is more than sufficiënt. The hotel manager let us check in earlier, in the morning so we could catch up on sleep. The staff is kind and friendly. 2 minutes away from the beach, but if you don't mind walking there are so many different locations to swim and enjoy the sun if you are not into kite surfing. Breakfast is great! I totally recommend it!

Roshan and his family and friends are warm and welcoming, going the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and worthwhile. There were personal touches everywhere from the greeting from Roshan before our arrival to his personally greeting us as we arrived. All the food is home cooked and traditional. They use local organic products for meals and serve everything with care. The surroundings are exactly what you hope to see when you book a home stay near a wildlife reserve - very raw, beautiful jungle while still being kept clean and neat and safe.

We arrived very late at night, but the team went above and beyond to ask for a late dinner for us also which was really thoughtful and much appreciated. room is extremely spacious, with a large washroom that gives the feeling of staying in a private villa. The sea view from the room is breathtaking and truly adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was another highlight we requested a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast, and they prepared it beautifully. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well presented. The staff are genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. A special mention goes to Nishantha, who gave us incredible support throughout our stay and made us feel very well taken care of. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations with its comfort, hospitality, and beautiful setting. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay.

Still a small biulding site around but its not that bad.

Beautiful location surrounded by nature, with a big garden, where the delicious dinner buffet is served, made mainly from local food. Our room was a bit further, near a lake, and we were offered to use bicycles to get there faster. It was a peaceful place and the owner and all staff are super friendly and hospitable, you might find yourself leaving having another friend there. He arranged a full day safari in the Wilpattu national park for us, which we enjoyed very much. If you are considering visiting the Wilpattu area, we highly recommend staying here.
