The staff, pool & all amenities were great for an overnight stay. Definitely worthwhile paying the extra for the air conditioning. Great location to the ferry dock, the corner house cafe (mango & passionfruit smoothie with milk-incredible) Also Macondo restaurant has great food-pasta homemade & delicious

This was a unique experience open to the elements - be prepared for the sound of waves crashing, wind, insects etc protected well at night by the mosquito net over the bed. Che is very helpful and nothing is a problem. Highly recommend it provided you are prepared for what is on offer.

This place is a hidden gem. Small number of rooms, very clean, private bathroom and lots of space. The shared kitchen is HUGE and has everything needed, like really, even if multiple people want to cook at the same time. The atmosphere feels great, the outdoors are amazing, lots of hammocks, different place to chill & eat. The highlight being the INCREDIBLE view on the volcano. Big shoutout to Maria in charge of the cleaning, she's a gem. Super helpful, big smile and she's cleaning the rooms everyday + changing the towels. Honestly for the price I wasn't expecting that. We've been traveling for more than a year now and it's probably one of the best places we've stayed.

I just loved this place, I dont know where to start, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, I arrived there just as the sun was setting and I had been travelling all day to get there. I noticed the cooler breeze in my face and the first thing I saw was Concepción the Volcano and my jaw dropped, the peace and the tranquility was just amazing, surrounded by total nature. It was late so I ordered a bottle of wine and some food from one of the menu´s they left me from a local restaurant and got it delivered. The breakfasts at the lodge are something else, I also booked a massage in my room which was also amazing. The room I had was next to reception I cant remember what number it was, I think No. 1. I had a room with a terrace out to the garden overlooking the volcano, where I had my breakfast. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen, there were even candles in my room, and hot water was appreciated too. I would not say that this is a complaint but I was on my own and I had not transport so I did not go out in the evenings, only one time to do a sunset kayak tour where they came and picked me up on a motorcycle, you can also book taxi motorcycle´s and mopeds taxis if you ask around. Much cheaper than a taxi and I felt very safe. (I stayed in January).

Fabulous rooms, clean and very comfortable. Lovely views over the lake. Staff were really accommodating.booked excursions and made packed lunches. Food was great too.

A lovely place with really cool huts and a beautiful garden. The staff very friendly and welcoming, helping out with everything. The restaurant serves delicious food, absolutely loved the breakfast with home made bread. A tranquil place on a beautiful island.
