The spacious apartment is located on the ground floor and features 1 bedroom, a flat-screen TV and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a microwave and a toaster. Towels and bed linen are available in the apartment. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We had a lovely stay at this beautiful accommodation. It's even more beautiful than in the pictures, super clean and provided everything we needed. The location in the horse barn was unique, dreamy, warm and cosy and better than we could've imagined. Furthermore, the Stavkirke is also very close by (our original motivation for our stay). In the end it was the horse ranch and a beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming home (and a super comfortable bed) that convinced us that we had chosen a perfect place to stay. We wish that we would've stayed longer than just one night during our roadtrip through Telemark in winter. Thank you for making us feel right at home! It was our favorite stay on our whole journey.

Very nice cabin with a great view over the nother part of Lake Nisser into the valley of Vråvatn. The cabin was very comfortable with a lot of space. We could even charge our electric car directly at the cabin. When we tried this the first time, the wallbox didn't work but that was fixed by our friendly host already on the next day!

The apartment was in a fantastic location with the most amazing view of Gaustatoppen. You wake up with the best view and walk out to the veranda to take your morning tea/coffee. The whole place was impeccably clean and the fixtures and fittings are not only of top quality but extremely tasteful and comfortable. The host Hernrik was extremely accommodating and responsive, and the location is perfect for all outdoor activities. We would stay here again in heartbeat.

Situated within 21 km of Heddal stave church and 24 km of Bø Summerland in Notodden, Lystang Camping & Cabins features accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the holiday park for the convenience of those who stay. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We liked everything. Starting from friendly and helpful staff-owners, amazing place surounded by lake, forest and finishing with beautiful little house- camping where you can find everything you need for your vacation. Thank you and I hope we coming back soon.

Set in Tuddal, 12 km from Gaustatoppen, Tuddal Høyfjellshotel offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service, along with free WiFi. The hotel features a sauna and luggage storage space. We loved absolutely everything about this gem of a property: the location in a stunning natural environment, the adorable staff, the unique history and decor of the hotel full of collectible and heirloom furniture and, of course the wonderful dinner. Food certainly was a highlight as this is generally where Norway fails to impress us. We were served a fresh, creative, and delicious dinner in the beautiful dining room overlooking the fjell. The chef even adjusted the menu for the vegetarians among us, creating genuine new dishes for us. Wow! Again, that was unexpected as eating veg in Norway is often a challenge. Everything felt authentic and personal in this independently-run property. Dinner starts with a presentation of the history of the place by the owner, their struggles during Covid and how they overcame them. Charmingly, this introduction included the reading of a poem (sadly we don’t understand Norwegian so had to rely on the translation of the presentation afterwards). Every effort is made to be sustainable : There’s a vegetable garden, the delicious bread is baked on the premisses (we took a box of the amazing Flatbrød with us) and the lovely shop sells some local cheese, honey and other specialties including, this being Norway, sweets :) We are already dreaming of a next stay to the Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to experience more of its magic and of the stunning nature around it as our stay this time was way too short. Note to the owners: stay as you are, you are a genuine gem and the world needs more places like yours. Thank you for everything!

Free private parking is available and the bed and breakfast also provides bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. great service, so friendly and helpful that made us feel greatly satisfied. Strongly recommend.

The accommodation offers room service, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. Staff was super friendly, place was very beautiful and clean, and food was excellent. The views and surrounding areas are breathtaking. By far, this is the best place that we’ve stayed in Norway; strongly recommend it!
