He could not do enough for us, from picking us up at the airport late at night, to making us a late supper after our long trip from the Amazon to taking us to the airport early morning. He made sure we were comfortable, had hot water for a well needed shower and gave us hot water for a lovely cuppa. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. We had a large standing fan and fresh towels and toiletries. The location for the airport is excellent. I would highly recommend staying at Poseidon where you will have a warm welcome not only by Wilson, but also his lovely dog and cat.

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. The staff was the best! They responded very quickly and organized everything for me (airport pick up, luggage, etc.). The breakfast was lovely with super sweet organic fruits. The room was clean and had air conditioning. Overall, the value for money was great. It’s a good place to stay if you want to go into the Amazon.

Despite the lively local festivities, they thoughtfully provided complimentary earplugs, allowing me to rest peacefully. My apartment was impeccably clean, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning with stunning views of the Amazon River. The location is ideal, situated on the tranquil, traffic-free Iquitos Boulevard, yet just a short walk from the vibrant Plaza de Armas and excellent dining options. After checkout, the staff graciously allowed me to stay until my evening flight and arranged an affordable airport transfer. Their dedication to guest satisfaction is truly commendable. I highly recommend Boulevard 251 Riverside Apartments and look forward to our next visit.

Located in Iquitos, Casa de Perú Iquitos- Hotel & Restaurant offers 3-star accommodation with a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, luggage storage space and free WiFi. Couldn't recommend highly enough! Clean, cheap, friendly, bilingual ownership. They found a cake for my birthday and cooked cayman meat we found in the market. Made great Pisco Sours. Cleaned our clothes (which we desperately needed). Give them a try!

A recently renovated campground situated in Iquitos, Retazos Eco Hotel features a garden. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The campground features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We had a nice stay here for x4 nights before our tour of the Amazon. It was nice to be somewhere peaceful so that we could properly relax & rest before our adventure. The hosts are very friendly too, the room was clean & the air conditioning & Wi-Fi worked well. The room was very clean, and it was a nice surprise to find a fridge, kettle, closed toaster and plates and cutlery. The host was super helpful and responded very quickly. He gave me a number for a moto taxi to the airport, who gave me a good price.
