John, the host, goes above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of, making you feel completely comfortable and meeting all your needs. The location is ideal—right next to the port and grocery store, and just a short distance from the main road of General Luna, yet tucked away in a peaceful, noise-free area. The beds are super comfy, everything is spotlessly clean, and the space is fully furnished, including everything you need to cook your own meals - if you want to. I highly recommend this place, whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, or as a couple—there’s even a cozy double room! Additionally, there's a lovely porch where you can park or even enjoy a peaceful yoga session in the morning.

The whole team of Fat Lips Lodge is very attentive, helpful, and friendly. They are ready to help in any way they can to make a stay of their guests easy and enjoyable. Great location, places to eat, little shops and laundry kiosks, etc. are just around the corner. My room was a big and clean, comfortable bed. Last but not least, the little heartbreaker dog Tiger was my companion.

Absolutely beautiful. We had two double rooms upstairs! The view, the pool, the beach, the property. It was a dream. We would come back. Highlight of our trip around the philippines. Very happy to show hidden gems like this of my country to my European family. The lead manager (The slightly larger filipino kuya) and the young bartender were absolutely fantastic, always helpful and well-informed. Cocktails were great by the bartender and Kuya assisted us with many things.

What an incredibly beautiful place, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They truly go out of their way to make your stay as special and comfortable as possible. I caught a cold during our stay and they kindly made me ginger and honey tea with turmeric to help me recover. Such a thoughtful and caring touch. I would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing owners and staff, very clean, homey and quiet. Dogs are lovely and already miss them all ❤️ Very well maintained AC in the room, literally first time i didn’t get throat infection while sleeping every night with AC on. Casa Basa is a very special place, if you want to travel in sustainable way this is the place❤️

Awesome experience. We extended several times as we think this is the best hotel in general luna. We saw most of the nights fireflies and the little dogs are sooo sweet. The people here are also very friendly and helpful.

Surigao Dream Beach Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and terrace in Tigbao. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a sauna.

Lovely place for relaxation in a great atmosphere and vibes. They organise day tours everywhere you might want to go and the hosts and staff take absolutely great care of you. Delicious food in the restaurant and great sunsets to enjoy at the pool/sauna area. I had such a great time there that I extended my stay beyond my original plan.
