The place has a great location, the whole hotel is beautifully renovated. We had to walk through the space again and again and admire every detail. Plus it smelled wonderful and the Christmas decorations were really beautiful. There were lots of drinks and goodies in stock that you could buy. The breakfast was fantastic. Homemade cake, eggs, delicious fresh fruit, great thick plain yogurt (don't you also like those artificially flavored, overly sweetened yogurts....?) and much more! The beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub and there was even hand cream available. I really appreciated that.

The view at the front of the house is absolutely spectacular! We could see all 4 of the other islands within the central group of the Azores, amazing! With Sao Jorge and Faial in the foreground, Pico behind it with its volcano Pico that we could see and all the way to the left we could also see Terceira. No house in front of us, just green lush terrain. The house seems to have been recently renovated and the interior is really beautiful and tastefully done. It is a spacious house, with separate kitchen and separate dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were able to prepare our meals there for several days. The bed is situated in the beautiful spacious living room and is very comfortable, we slept great! The small coffee corner in the front room of the diningroom is a beautiful lookout post in any weather, but especially on a rainy day. In the large living room there is also a corner set up for yoga or gymnastics exercises, very nice! At the back of the house we saw also a BBQ, which we didn't use, but is a nice extra.

The location is perfect because you are at center of the Island where you can find everything you need but you are really close to nature so... what else can we want? The host was amazing, dedicated, available for all our questions, kind and show us why Graciosa is always a good option (nature, culture and kindness).
