Absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment I booked, the service was exceptional. The team's warm hospitality shone through, and their 24/7 WhatsApp availability was a game-changer! Any question, any time, they were there with a friendly and helpful response. The room was stunning. It was the perfect combination of a beautiful hotel room with the comfort and convenience of a fully equipped apartment. Everything felt brand new, meticulously clean, and beautifully designed, and having a kitchen and all the necessary appliances was a huge plus! It truly felt like a home away from home. The location is perfectly situated in the heart of the city, everything was within easy reach. In addition, the hotel staff went above and beyond to suggest hidden gems and must-see spots around the island, tailoring the advice to my interests. I can't recommend this place highly enough! If you're looking for exceptional service, beautiful accommodations that feel like a comfortable apartment, a prime location, look no further. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful location! Just 2 blocks inland from the waterfront, we could be to the main attractions in 5 minutes. We didn’t rent a car, so a hotel in easy walking distance was fantastic. The hotel is very nice. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was a nice perk. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our inquiries.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. The place is lovely, very private and calm. It's so beautiful there. The owners are the kindest and make you feel like family, very resolutive and helpful with everything. The sea views form our terrace were amazing. We stayed in 4 places douring our trip and I'm confident in saying this was the BEST one!! + There's a lonely kitty

We liked literally everything ! The hotel has a variety facilities including an infinity pool, indoor heated pool, sauna, Turkish bath, lots of outdoor lounge seatings. It offers complementary daily shuttle to Funchal and transfers to nearby levada walks. Breakfast was super delicious with many options! Best of all, the people are just amazingly friendly and kind! They went above and beyond to help us! One day we had to miss breakfast for a sunrise hike, the kitchen staff packed us sandwiches, water, fruit juices etc. Do yourself a favor and book a room in this hotel :) I hope we will be back soon!
