The room and the bad was very confortable

A modern hotel with spacious apartment-style rooms close to the old town in Bratislava. Everything in the apartment was perfect. We especially appreciated having the washing machine in the bathroom as we had been travelling for a while and needed to do a few loads of laundry. They even had free laundry detergent available from the reception. Even though the hotel seemed to be quite full (from meeting other guests at breakfast), it was quiet and we always got a good night's sleep. The breakfast had a good range of cold and hot food to choose from. The staff were very helpful and the reception is open 24 hours a day. It was good value too -- for the price of a 4-start hotel room we got a whole apartment with two small bedrooms and breakfast included.

Here are my main highlights of my 6 night stay at the Hotel Garni Dock in Bratislava. When booking a hotel, the most important aspects I consider are cleanliness and the location. That being said, read below: - The hotel is at a perfect location and I feel like it should be commented on a bit more. The hotel is right next to the brand new Bratislava bus terminal, so if you come in from Vienna airport by bus (or anywhere else) you just have to cross the street once out. The new station is actually underground and above it sits a brand new 3 storey mall with a rooftop garden and great views over the city. It is a 10-15 minute scenic walk to the historic centre with great bus connections. The danube and the Euronova mall and leisure broadwalk are even closer. - The hotel is very very clean, the room was spotless and very spacious. My room was located under the roof with automatic blonds and windows. Despite a week long heatwave, the room was cool and fresh. - The wifi is great. I was there for work and needed it a lot for zoom meetings etc. - Breakfast; Family owner hotel actually with lovely staff, both the manager Dušan and his coworker at the breakfast. The hotel is human sized and it was lovely to have hotel outside. - I am vegetarian and the breakfast featured many options despite some of the reviews claiming it was very limited. They had vegan tofu spreads, all kinds of jams. They actually make the bread themselves and they have typical slovak bakery goods as well as hot and cold breakfast options. Absolutely nothing to complain about, and I was there a week! - The staff is very friendly and reasonable when it comes to special requests, provided it is within their power to do so. I had requested for my partner to join two of the nights, I let them know in advance and it was no issue at all and we were welcomed warmly by the hotel manager.

Perfect location in the city center, nice underground parking for free, clean and well equipped rooms/flats in the apartment building.

The accommodation was very beautiful. It is in the city center and close to all the attractions. The staff was polite and helpful.

Apartment was beautifully furnished and a good location, less than 10 minute walk away from the old town. The parking was a little pricey but staff were nice enough to let us keep the car there for a few hours to explore the town after checking out

Hotel is very well worth the stay. The rooms are clean, bed was comfy, bathroom spacious. Breakfast was very good as well. The whole stay is very price-performance for staying in Bratislava. The on site restaurant is very good!

Beautiful hotel. Everything you'd expect from a Marriot.
