Very nice, small hotel. Good option for in between flights as is not so far from the airport and airport transportation is available - thanx for the flexibility as my flight was many hours late well into the nite. My next flight was later the following evening. Was great to visit the beach, which is nearby.

This place is truly special, and I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to come and stay here. From the moment we arrived, the energy was calm, welcoming, and deeply peaceful. The location itself is incredibly serene, making it the perfect place to slow down and really experience Senegal. Ivan, the owner (Belgian), was remarkably friendly and genuine. He went out of his way to make sure we were always comfortable and well taken care of. Beyond that, he was a wonderful person to talk to about Senegalese culture — thoughtful, open, and clearly passionate about the place and its people. While the food on the menu was very good and there was a great selection of drinks, my absolute highlight was something far more meaningful: sharing Chebou Jën, the national dish, with the entire staff right on the beach. That moment was exceptional — communal, joyful, and deeply human. It was genuinely the tastiest Chebou Jën I’ve ever had, and the generosity was incredible. They made sure I had plenty of fish, and the delicious tamarind sauce. Even my girlfriend, who was initially a little hesitant, ended up loving it. Another beautiful moment was on the day of our departure, when a fantastic local musician played live music — a perfect, soulful way to say goodbye. What really stood out was the staff: playful, warm, endlessly kind. They laughed with us, took wonderful care of us, and even went out of their way to help me practise my French, turning it into something fun and memorable rather than intimidating. This is not just a place to stay — it’s a place with soul. Exceptional hospitality, generosity of spirit, and unforgettable vibes. I would absolutely return and recommend it without hesitation.

We recently stayed at Keur Ama, and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The attention to detail and the hospitality were truly remarkable. The room was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials. We appreciated the cozy bedding, the Wi-Fi, the Tv channels. The guest house itself is in a peaceful area, offering a much-needed retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The breakfast served was included in the price and honestly it was just what we needed (jam, coffee, Eggs, fruits, juices, Baguettes, Chocolate paste, Hot chocolate..) we also enjoyed the garden, swimming pool.. Overall, Keur Ama is perfect for anyone seeking a blend of comfort and affordability. Villa Chanalu offers a truly wonderful experience. From the lovely accommodations to the excellent service, the delicious food, and the warmth of the staff... Everything exceeded our expectations. Amazing place to rest, and enjoy your moments! The stuff are very polite, and they do their best to make your stay pleasent. The food is delicious. From the terrace you can enjoy the view to the hotel area with beautiful pool or to the sea with sunsets. Everything is walking distance... everything is perfect!

Tama lodge is a very special place — the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the food is delicious and the staff incredibly kind. Time feels slower and sweeter there. We’ll be back for sure !

This was my second stay at this hotel and like the first time, I wasn't disappointed. This hotel is in a great location, situated on the beach with a perfect view. The staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating to any requests we had. The air con worked great and the room was clean and in good condition. If I were to visit Senegal again, I would book at this hotel again.
