Amazing retreat nestled in the jungle. Fantastic staff, accommodation and transfers anywhere / plenty of activities.

The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and even small kitchen facilities, which was very convenient. Everything feels new and fresh, and breakfast is included, which was a nice bonus.

Stayed at this homestay for a night on our way to Bangkok. Received a warm welcome from the hosts and they are really nice people! They drove us to a nearby restaurant so we could have some dinner and the restaurant owners drove us back after finishing the meal, neat! The rooms are adequately sized and come with all the necessary amenities. There is also a small minibar, alternatively there is a 7-Eleven nearby. The bed is quite hard for my taste, but we felt that nearly all other places we stayed at in Thailand had hard beds too, so it might just be a thing around here! In the morning we got a shuttle to the airport by the owner which was really nice of them! Great value for your money!

Beautiful boutique type resort located right on a secluded beach. The bed was very comfortable and the room was just lovely, very tasteful and modern mix with Thai decor. Everything there you could need. Food was delicious and we ate at the beach, while we chose to have breakfast on our balcony - everything was just right. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We’re going back to stay in a few weeks again, it was that lovely. High recommend

Our main goal was to just stay over one night, for our boat to Koh Tao. But what we didn't expect, was how nice the hotel was and the area. The river view was really relaxing, and it only takes less than 5 minutes by foot to the sea! Bunch of local and good restaurants nearby as well with a very affordable price. I became sick during my stay, the staff was so kind and accompanied me in the middle of the night to 7-11 to buy medicine. It was definitely a life saver, and I am forever grateful for that. If you're looking for a nice place to relax, with authentic Thai food and atmosphere, there isn't a better hotel than this

The beachfront you couldn't beat - so special to watch the sunrise with a coffee. Comfy bed and the singing with the family in the night will make you cry it is so fantastic. Nothing like showering with a beach view

My stay at Tabebbuia House was truly something special — far beyond just accommodation. From the very first day, Joe and B made me feel not like a guest, but like family. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine care created an atmosphere that is rare to find when traveling. The house itself is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable. Everything is thoughtfully arranged, clean, and welcoming — a space where you can truly relax after a day of exploring the islands or working remotely. There’s a calm energy to the place that makes it easy to settle in and feel at home. What really sets Tabebbuia House apart, though, are Joe and B. They go above and beyond in ways that feel natural and heartfelt, not transactional. Whether it was sharing recommendations, checking in to make sure everything was perfect, or simply having meaningful conversations, they created a sense of belonging that I will deeply miss. Leaving felt less like checking out of a guesthouse and more like saying goodbye to family. For digital nomads especially, this is the perfect base while traveling around the islands. The environment is comfortable, stable, and supportive — ideal for working productively while still enjoying the beauty of the surroundings. Reliable, peaceful, and inspiring, it strikes the perfect balance between work and island life. I am incredibly grateful for my time there. I will miss Joe and B, the house, and the comfort and warmth they gave me every single day. If you are looking for more than just a place to stay — if you are looking for a home away from home — Tabebbuia House is it.
