Avoided us leaving Hua HIn at 3am in the morning for the drive upto UTP. Also good for an evening arrival , if you have a long trip ahead of you.

Located around 2.7 km from Ao Phai Beach, the resort is also 2.9 km away from Sai Kaew Beach. Guests can dine in the restaurant or a drink at the snack bar and free WiFi is available. Super lovely small huts at one of the more southern beaches of Samed. Much more quiet than the busy northern beaches. The staff in Viking/Horizon is super attentive, making sure everything is clean and well attended. Food is also excellent there, the breakfast had Thai dishes (changing every day), tropical fruits, yogurt, muesli, toast, bread, peanut butter, jam as well as eggs and also carnivore options (for those who want it). Though there is not a direct sandy beach, you need to only walk 5 min to get there. The restaurant closes at 5 pm, but that's no problem as there are many other options close by. And if you are interested in one of the fire shows, just walk 15 min north to the next beach, where you find plenty of options at the restaurants and shops there. We loved everything about this little paradise and can highly recommend!

It’s a perfect place to relax with a good book, have a cocktail and swim in the crystal clear waters. It’s on a nice secluded part of the island but you can be in the main shopping town in 10 mins. Situated in Ban Phe and only 45 km from Emerald Golf Resort, La Plume features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The property offers soundproof units and is set 6.5 km from Khao Laem Ya National Park. The host was really nice, we arrived really late almost midnight but the host stayed awake for us. In the morning we left early at 7:00 AM , he also woke up for us to check out, really appreciated. The room is clean ,the mattress is nice and the host explained to us everything we need to know. Love it here, we will come back for sure 😊
