The room was comfortable and clean. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, but to get to the central area it is best to rent a scooter. We also enjoyed the terrace a lot.

The room was beautifully decorated, and it had a bathtub overlooking the garden and a terrace with a direct sea view. You could fall asleep listening to the waves, and it made for a dreamy experience. It is spacious and has everything you might need, even a bath bomb. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable. I can highly recommend this place, and will definitely visit it again.

Still trying to work out why this hotel is where it is, very remote location with little to nothing nearby. The staff are excellent from cooking breakfast to room maintenance, they do it all. One issue...we had room 210 for 8 days and the hotel was virtually empty and yet on two occasions they put guests in the room above us, and both times, the guests were extremely noisy, moving furniture at 11pm until midnight. Also, the hotel publicity material advertises that one of the beaches is 0.6km away...bit of a mistake there, it's not. Pool lovely, breakfast lovely, staff lovely. Just needs a tiny bit of polishing.

Avoided us leaving Hua HIn at 3am in the morning for the drive upto UTP. Also good for an evening arrival , if you have a long trip ahead of you.

Located around 2.7 km from Ao Phai Beach, the resort is also 2.9 km away from Sai Kaew Beach. Guests can dine in the restaurant or a drink at the snack bar and free WiFi is available. Super lovely small huts at one of the more southern beaches of Samed. Much more quiet than the busy northern beaches. The staff in Viking/Horizon is super attentive, making sure everything is clean and well attended. Food is also excellent there, the breakfast had Thai dishes (changing every day), tropical fruits, yogurt, muesli, toast, bread, peanut butter, jam as well as eggs and also carnivore options (for those who want it). Though there is not a direct sandy beach, you need to only walk 5 min to get there. The restaurant closes at 5 pm, but that's no problem as there are many other options close by. And if you are interested in one of the fire shows, just walk 15 min north to the next beach, where you find plenty of options at the restaurants and shops there. We loved everything about this little paradise and can highly recommend!

It’s a perfect place to relax with a good book, have a cocktail and swim in the crystal clear waters. It’s on a nice secluded part of the island but you can be in the main shopping town in 10 mins.
