I recommend the Dar Elyysa very highly! When we arrived we had just spent the previous two nights at a guesthouse in Tunis with some of the rudest most disinterested staff I have ever come across. We left a night early to stay at the Dar Elyssa in Sidi Bou Said and our experience could not have been more different. We arrived 3 hours before check in hoping to just drop our bags and go to the beach. Without asking staff prepared our room early and checked us in, allowing us to relax before going out again. I wish I had remembered to get the individual staff members’ names but safe to say every single one of them was nothing but smiles. The whole place was immaculate with a stunning view, and it is situated just across the street from the beach. We had a great time relaxing, and exploring Sidi Bou Said which is a short walk. The next day we weren’t leaving for the airport until 4.30pm, but staff happily let us stay by the pool until then, and even brought us out tea and biscuits. Sadly, the meal we ate out the night before had made my girlfriend very ill. Luckily staff did everything they could to look after her - even making her up a little bed on the sofa by the window in the common area so she could relax! Thank you for saving our trip to Tunisia! We hope to be back soon 😊

Everything about my stay was perfect! I arrived and was immediately shown into a very clean and spacious room! The location is perfect, next to shops and close to the nice part of Sidi Bou Said. It is incredibly peaceful during the night. Not a sound!

The location in Medina, lots of interesting places and restaurants around. Beautiful old traditional home, charming rooms. The owner and the staff were extraordinary. The breakfast was every day a little different and delicious.

Dar El Rezk is a very nice accommodation, very well located. You will be in the center of the old Medina of Tunis, with the Mosque Zitouna at 5 min walking.
