KenyaI had such a wonderful stay here and honestly wish I had booked for longer! The home was spotless, cosy, and had such a warm, homely feel that made it easy to relax from the moment I arrived.
The pool was beautiful and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring Zanzibar. The location was also perfect, peaceful, safe, and away from the hustle and bustle, while still being convenient to get around.
What truly made this stay exceptional was the host. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, regularly checking in to ensure everything was okay and making me feel genuinely welcome. Their kindness and hospitality made all the difference.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming place to stay in Zanzibar.

Perfect location, great atmosphere. You feel like home. We stayed with teenage kids and they enjoyed youth hostel atmosphere. ( Wi-Fi and Air condition work very well). Host explained us how to get to the East coast by dalladalla and informed us how much it is supposed to cost. That was very helpful. Usually if you ask someone in Tanzania, they just organize an expensive taxi for you….

Shoki Shoki was a lovely little place in a great location. We were only in Stone Town for one night and the proximity to the water, sites and shops and restaurants was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helped us arrange a guided tour and airport transfer. Room was clean, spacious, and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

The toilets were a bit tiny, but accommodative.
TV should be set for guest to switch on and not for the guest, to go through the setting process.
Staff were very helpful.

The convenience of having golf facilities just steps away from my accommodation, combined with the service and amenities of the hotel, made for a truly good stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to any golfer looking for a golfing experience paired with the comforts of a luxury retreat in Zanzibar. After all the hotel has the only Golf Course in Zanzibar.

Kaka Ian welcomed us like we haven't seen each other in years, which was so awesome.
Keep being as lively as you were.
The stay was wonderful, the breakfast amazing, room was very beautiful and wonderfully organized.

Not much did I like. It’s a basic hotel but then you get what you pay for. Not that clean in bathroom. Bit rusty. This hotel does not have a decent roof restaurant as pictured. Since they said I had the best room I dread to think what the others are like. No iron etc which you may need in transit. No alcohol. I guess that’s fine as it’s a Muslim
Country. If you’re taking the ferry then it’s the perfect location. Other than that, no I wouldn’t stay there again. Staff were nice and friendly and helpful.

Excellent food with excellent stuff. The hotel gives you more than they promise. Friendly stuff always helping and guiding. The breakfast was best in my life. Greetings to the chef Lance Louise who is amazing person and talented. Also I would like to thank the owner and Amir who made our stay better than it was. The rooms are clean and well-designed. The hotel design is mesmerizing.
