The location was perfect, close to Metro, and Financial district icons. It also meant quieter streets after hours than say around more active areas. The beds were comfortable and service was great. The room was neat, clean as was the bathroom. It was also very clear what the fees were and what was included and what not. Water bottles replenished daily. A multiple of nearby convenience stores, food, and if needed pharmacies. The air con/ heat pump did its job very well. I have already suggested this hotel to friends and family should they seek accommodation in New York.

The service one expects at 5* and doesn’t always get (prompt, pro and super friendly), comfort (spacious, very clean, quiet street, good soundproofing, good linen and towels and toiletries), convenient location (sights, waterfront - short walk to seaport and Staten Island ferry - subways) and amenities in building (cafe, market, eateries, NYC view from 64th floor bar), beautiful building and rooms with contemporary retro decor w quality materials, and no floor carpeting. A lovely hotel with very thoughtful staff. Housekeeping was excellent. 10 min walk to the subway and very good cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Special thank you to Leanna and Jory for looking after us and making our ‘anniversary week’ very special. It’s a stunning property.
