We were in tower 3. the host was amazing and responded to any questions we had. the view was amazing, the sphere is to right of you. you overlook the strip, and can see as far as westgate, uber can only pick u up from Tower 2, but if walking turn left and cross the road, you are in Planet hollywood shops. mid strip! perfect location. walk back towards mgm and u can pick up monorail. its not a far walk from MGM grand to Tower 3, its easy, if i can do it anyone can. I hired a mobility scooter, but unfortunately the strip is not easy to navigate with one, especially as they were setting up for Formula1 .. so pavements were shut, forcing all traffic onto one side of the road. also found when we got off at Westgate hotel on monorail, the lift wasnt working! so my partner had to dismantle scooter and do several trips down the escalators. which is not ideal if you are on your own!. appartment was great, fridge, hob, microwave, toaster etc. plates/crockery etc, all there, couldnt fault it. the bed was so comfy we slept so well. would deffinately stay there again.
