Very calm and peaceful. A lot of animals. Bespoke architecture and a keen attention to details. If you have a thought in your mind like "It would have been good to have x", it'll be there. We had a great game drive in the afternoon, both enjoyable and educational! Tried the braai, also very good. Taking out a canoe on the dam on a still morning - amazing! Just watch out for the rhinos, the female gets annoyed...

Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Fernery Lodge is in an absolutely beautiful location, perched on a cliff with breathtaking views over the ocean. We stayed in one of the chalets and loved it — everything is wooden and beautifully designed, giving it a super cozy and unique feel. The chalet was very spacious and well-equipped, with a lovely bath and two showers, which was a great touch. The pool area is really nice, and the property has several hot tubs spread around, perfect to enjoy both during the day and in the evening. The whole atmosphere felt romantic, peaceful, and genuinely special.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. The room, the restaurant and relaxing areas were really quite lovely.

Nestled at the eastern head of Knysna, this luxurious, pet-friendly hotel boasts a championship golf course, a restaurant and a spa. Free WiFi is provided. Breakfast was fantastic and appetising, the staff was so helpful and the environment was the best 👌
