In a quiet location in Wals, 5 km of the historic centre of Salzburg, the family-run Hotel Himmelreich features a sauna and a garden with a swimming pool. The style and character of the hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and went out their way to make sure we had a great experience there in Salzburg. Thank you for free city public transport passes. Very much appreciated.

This was most certainly a very pleasant, upscale establishment. It was clear there was defiant pride in ownership! Loved our stay here!!! Quiet, great location, great places to eat in area. This modern, quietly located 4-star hotel is part of the Wals Trade Centre and is just off the A1 motorway and only 800 metres from Salzburg Airport. A nice hotel to stay in Salzburg very close to shopping center Penny. It is in the outskirt of the city so easy to reach from the highway. With a bicycle you can easily get in the city centre too. There is a nice bicyle path all along the river, don't miss it! :) The breakfast was good too.
