We were very impressed with the total layout. A very well stocked kitchen. A very comfortable area to relax. And we had a table we could play our games like Mexican Train. A designated parking area. And our hosts were very accommodating. Excellent!

I liked the peace and tranquility, the easy get-to beautiful walks and a really friendly and well equiped town, I liked Adrians splendid breakfasts, helpfulness and concern, I liked the hummmngbird, that came so close and the seals in the water, I liked rowing the cayak and the smell of nature. I warmly reccomend to try the massage and spa - it was excellent.

Great food with lots of options.

Great food with lots of options. Ate at Nourish, The Bakery, and Gumboot Cafe. Had the Harvest Bowl at Nourish - amazing! Plenty of shopping opportunities for local goods and fun items. Lots of variety, too. Particularly like pottery and their were a number of places. Liked Mustard Seed the best. Lovely creations. Also like book shopping and Talewind Books fit the bill. Staff was very helpful. And found a couple of new-to-me mystery authors and that is saying something!

It was very clean. Peaceful and quiet. It was perfect for our night in Roberts Creek. The shower had lots of hot water, and good pressure. And we are grateful that we were invited to check in an hour early.

The location in Halfmoon Bay is very convenient, close to several beaches and parks, and only about a 10-minute drive from Sechelt, with plenty of restaurants and activities. We especially enjoyed Cooper Green Park, which we preferred to Sargeant Bay Provincial Park. Another favorite was the Halfmoon Bay General Store, a charming local spot where you can pick up groceries and liquor, with a lovely coffee shop offering great coffee, sandwiches, and baked goods. The beautiful view makes it an especially nice place to stop for breakfast or a casual lunch.

Gibsons is one of those places that feels immediately easy.

Gibsons is one of those places that feels immediately easy. From a traveler’s perspective, it has the right mix of coastal beauty, walkability, and small town warmth. The waterfront is calm and inviting, the shops and cafés feel thoughtfully chosen rather than touristy, and the pace encourages you to slow down. That said, the hill between the harbour and the upper town is no joke. It is steep enough to earn respect, and oddly enough, it adds to the charm.

Good for shopping, the artisans market on a Saturday well worth a visit. Good base to explore the coast. First nation museum small but interesting. Burnett Falls an easy hike. Porpoise Bay Good for beach walk. Lovely promenade to stroll along in Sechelt. Also the botanical gardens worth visiting.

Scenic area to visit with lots of great hiking and lovely towns. Our hosts had helpful information on what to do and see in the area. The Pender Harbour Blues festival at the beginning of June is fun. Could have spent more time exploring. My only comment is that some of the hiking trails could use better markings.

Just the perfect 1/2 way point from the ferry to Egmont...loved that it was so close to Sechelt as well but never more than a 45 minute drive anywhere. Most driving consisted of under 1/2 hour to get to any hikes etc that we wanted to go.

You can drive to IGA and Dollartree not far.

You can drive to IGA and Dollartree not far. We made our own food in our room but there is a few fast food places close, Tim Hortons and A&W. It’s worth driving up to Sechelt too. They had an excellent gelato in Gibson which had a bakery too, love it there.
