The Kivu Nest might not be a 5 ⭐ Hotel, but provides 5 ⭐ accomadation in every department. The staff is what makes this hotel run professionally. They work as a team. They are akin to well drilled and seasoned Athletics Relay squad. Whomsoever, put this outfit together deserves to be a Hollywood Casting Director. I have visited and stayed at many a so called 5 ⭐ establishment, some do not come close to the Kivu Nest Hotel. I cannot think of one area in which I was disappointed. The front of office staff were always helpful. They procured transport to collect me when I couldn't locate a taxi or got lost when Google maps malfunctioned. The cleaning staff always supplied freshly laundered towels and toiletries and they always asked if they could render further assistance without me asking first. The catering staff were top draw. The security staff were always available to offer advice and support. And, last but, certainly by no means least the Chef's always prepared delicious meals. They even dished up meals that were not on the menu. Let's just say, any future trips I make to Gisenyi, the Kivu Nest Hotel will be my first and only option.

The staff provided service as if I were in a Four Season Resort, 5 star hotel but more importantly, they were genuinely kind. The view was incredible and the food exceptional.
