We arrived to San José late in the afternoon and before starting our Costa Rica trip we thought it would be nice to stay on night near the airport. We were welcomed by Joaquín who was nice enough to drive us to collect our rented car. Arriving to the property, you stay in his house together with his family, in a room next to the garden. Room was big, clean and even though it doesn't have AC, there is a great fan that does the trick. We had complimentary coffee and even a mini fridge with water. It was a perfect choice and Liliana and Joaquín are extremely nice and welcoming.

I needed a stay to get by airplane the next day. This was a very good place to take a good shower and sleep in an excellent bed before going to the airport. They also provide a place for your car, that was my case. Also the staff is very friendly!

The family owned property is right behind the airport and the owner arranged transportation from the airport and to my destination. This is a nice, clean house very close to the airport. The host Yadira was very helpful. I liked that the room had a large window and the ceilings are tall. The house is spacious and I felt like I was at home.
