We stayed here with a family of 5, especially when it's to hot outside, in the property you feel no high temperature at all, it was extremely clean and comfortable, Check-in and check-out processes where quite easy, there is anything you need.

The staff were very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean and of good size (also pretty and romantic), the location of the hotel is perfect (near the train station and my former neighbourhood), there’s a nice Italian restaurant downstairs, and the breakfast was very nice (especially the eggs).

Fantastic value at 110 euros. Breakfast that was included was excellent as well with high quality options and friendly staff. US goers, note that there is no AC. Parking is limited also (but free)

Friesenheim is a small vilage, not much too see in the village itself but the route there is very nice. Any traveler should go eat at Burkart's, they serve cheap but good authentic German food with generous beers and have a waitress who speaks very good english. The next restaurant I would recommend is Dino's, an Italian place. The staff could be a bit friendlier and quicker, but the food makes more than up for it.

The area is a hikers dream….
The area is a hikers dream…. Castles, forest, paths for bikes and walks. Restaurants are Black Forest gems. The people are extremely friendly.
You ( with a car) are near other beautiful villages… each offering different lovely reasons for going.
