The apartment is so spacious that I felt at home.
It has access to pool, whirlpool and showers, which are essential when you come from the beach.
There are a couple of restaurants nearby and a minimarket with everything you need for any emergency.
It is in a very quiet and noise free area, however the “busiest” area is just a few minutes away.
Boasting garden views, Elegant Chipipe Apartment Walk to the Beach features accommodation with a private beach area and a patio, around 200 metres from Chipipe Beach.

Wonderful location, excellent staff, very clean and comfortable.
Good food and cocktails.
Bathroom was great. A little hot water would be an improvement for showering.
The room could have benefited from another bedside table and bedside lighting.

Salinas is a small beach town good for a few days of relaxation with ample options for lodging and food. But not much to offer with respect to tourist attraction..The beach itself is calm with many vendors and umbrellas during the day, but the beach sand and water are not like the ones you will see in the Caribbean or Mexico tourist destinations. The town is lively on weekends with families from other towns.

The location was ideal, offering a lovely view and a very welcoming atmosphere. It had everything we needed – a nice garden, a jacuzzi, and direct beach access – so we rarely had to go out, except to pick up a few essentials. The host was extremely helpful throughout our stay.

It's just too crowded and the air is very polluted.
It's just too crowded and the air is very polluted. If you like big city life then you'll like Salinas. But if you want a place where you can just relax on the beach, this is not that place. Beaches are VERY crowded, lots of background noise. Honestly the air pollution here is horrible for a peninsula. It smells like Newark, New Jersey.

Even though the address of El Faro is technically Salinas, it's really about 8 miles from the city center, and my only excursions into town were for dinner. I had no complaints about the quality of the food, which is generally excellent, but Salinas itself has very little charm, since it's more of a beach community for people from Guayaquil. If I return to the area, I will make a point of heading further north on the coast, to slightly more remote, quiet places (NOT Montañitas).
