Near the beaches and transportation, the staff were all wonderful and helpful with making suggestions about the area. Great restaurants and shopping at the port. Very clean, great AC, and comfy beds! Will definitely be back! We enjoyed the breakfast each day. Great stay for our family of 4.

Hyeres is beautiful like with a touch of Saint Tropez but...
Hyeres is beautiful like with a touch of Saint Tropez but way more peaceful. The people are nice and kind-very helpful. There are so many beach to chooce from. The transfortation is efficient enough. My favorite spot is the Port Saint Pierre- where you can dine by the port.
I stayed in Ibis Budget hotel which is very close to the city center. Also the weather is nice.

Very nice town away from busy Hyeres, but still close to...
Very nice town away from busy Hyeres, but still close to beaches and the Giens peninsula. A good choice of restaurants is available in the town as well as at the harbor, Small grocery store and a supermarket are also available within walking distance. A rental car is recommended if one wants to visit the beautiful areas along the coast. Summer time brings a variety of concerts in the park and auditorium next to the Fregate apartment complex.

La Farlede was quiet and peaceful.
La Farlede was quiet and peaceful. There were quite a few places to eat and drink as well as take aways. The town has two supermarkets (Lidl and Intermarche) and is a traditional French town which was lovely. Very few British tourists (we were the only Brits there - which was perfect for us). The locals were very friendly and welcoming and didn’t laugh at us butchering our GCSE French from 30 years ago! … although they appreciated our efforts. The funniest time was when a cashier at Gifi said “what do you want” in response to my question posed in my best French. A car is a must as it is quite remote and some distance (1hr 20) from international airports of Marseille and Nice.
As we drove down from Le Shuttle and the rest of our family flew, we would probably look to stay slightly closer to Nice or Marseille next time.

Wonderful island with a lot of great beaches, some of which are perfect for small children. Good hiking and snorkeling on the south side. Very few cars and everywhere is easily reached by bike, which are easy to rent on the island. On the south side of the hotel Medes on Rue de la Douane is a very good casual restaurant / bar in a garden that we can highly recommend for a drink and a light meal of seafood. It doesn't show up on google maps so I can't list the name. It is open between 6-10 pm only.

Like the location.
Like the location. Like the beach and restaurants around the beach. If you are with car you can park outside on the street. There are a lot of places that we wanted to visit but there wasn't enough time. If we come again we will stay in the same place but longer.

Carquieranne has a lovely port with bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a meal while watching the sun go down.
The town itself has adequate shops, restaurants & bars as well as takeout. Thursday is market day, excellent market for fresh produce, clothing, shoes, and accessories.
Entertainment in the square was excellent when we were there ( & free)
The beaches are excellent for snorkelling, lots of rocks to explore teeming with fish.

Beautiful old town, if we had more time we would have explored the islands or hired a boat.
There are lots of buses to get you around town and to the beach.
