You go here because it is close to the airport. Nit to spend a week for your holidays. It is a fine hotel, serves its purpise very well and it is surprisingly good, in spite of the bad reviews. Room/ appartment ws spacious and nicely furnished. Staff was friendly and caring.

Set 11 miles (17 kilometres) from the city, Tbilisi International Airport is a 25-minute drive from the centre of town. A taxi will cost GEL 20–30, while the 24-hour 37 bus takes a little longer and connects travellers to the city centre. A train to Tbilisi Central Station departs from the airport twice a day at 08:45 and 18:45, taking about 20 minutes.

Property is near by the airport, but road is rough. And never ever get into a taxi without agreement on the fare. Checked in at 0200am without any hassle. Owner was good. No selection on breakfast menu. Comfy bed, clean towels, room heater was there.

I love this city and people!
I love this city and people! Keep coming back, and this stay was third visit! Only bummer was Gudauri resort roads closure on the 1st Jan onwards due to avalanche and road accidents associated with weather conditions. So I lost my two nights booking and stays in the resort.
Tbilisi city is a gem! Would not recommend though on new years season if you want to enjoy Georgian cuisine as majority restaurants and hinkali houses are closed for the New Years holidays up until 15th January and you have to search for open restaurants and pre-book in advance to have a seat.

A place not visited much by tourists.
A place not visited much by tourists. Though we enjoyed it pretty well. A good opportunity to learn about Soviet time Georgia. The city today is quite lively, with part of the buildings renovated. Quite few places of interest, especially the history museum, the Metalurgical factory, the city city park, and the Kafune restaurant. The view from her cross over Rustavi is breath taking, even though the road up the hills is in terrible shape full of potholes.

Extremely tourist friendly city! Bolts made travel around the city very easy. Lot of international cuisines available. Some of the locals are very friendly! Would recommend the boat ride from Meidan Bazaar, Christmas market and cable car to everyone. Certainly try the chimney cake - czech dessert in Meidan square - there is huge line but the wait is worth it.

Ibis is an excellent hotel choice for your airport needs. Super convenient location being only a short walk on the same side of the street from TBS international. Staff was great and very professional. The restaurant breakfast was beautiful with tons of choices and an awesome coffee machine for your espresso or latte needs. The room was super quiet, no noise from the airport! 10/10 will stay at this hotel every time arriving and prior to departure at TBS.
