Featuring panoramic views of the scenic nature surroundings, Hotel Kjarnalundur- Aurora Dream - Lodges and Rooms is 5 km from central Akureyri and just 2 km from the Akureyri Airport. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The breakfast buffet was incredibly extensive and delicious. The staff greeted us with warmth and friendliness from the moment we arrived. Our room was quiet and spacious, providing all the comfort we needed. What's more, they had a crib ready for our baby upon our arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. We were so pleased with our experience that we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. Overall, our time at this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return in the future. The combination of excellent service, a peaceful room, and that delicious breakfast made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our trip so enjoyable!

Very comfy beds. Kitchen with everything you need.

Great house! Warm, spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen. Parking space available and easy. Keep in mind that there are stairs also in the house and single beds are a little bit narrow so that you arrange where every one sleeps. But in fact we didn’t mind at all, that’s why I don’t mention it as something I didn’t like.
