My stay was really pleasant.
The house had a good space, three comfortable dorm rooms, the kitchen and bathroom were well set. You can use the washing and drying machine.
There is a parking lot in front of the entrance which is very convenient.
The view to the coast from the balcony is also nice.
Near the house, there is a market for groceries.

The hills to get to the property are incredibly steep. In a car, it was wild to drive them. Some of them seemed 45 degrees! Easy check in. Fresh towels every day. The rooms were very large. The ocean is visible from the property. Overall, nice three day stay.

We stayed three nights and that was enough for us. Beaches need more atmosphere, loungers, restaurants, shade etc. Also realised you need to hire a car cause America town and closes beaches got boring after three days.

I love this city.
I love this city. Unlike most cities I have been in, there is almost no trash to be found on the streets, anywhere! At no time did I ever feel unsafe, no matter where in the city I walked. The people are extremely polite and friendly. The food is absolutely amazing! I LOVE this place! You want the best places to eat, look for the small ones. You will not be disappointed with the food or prices!

I have dear friends living in Yomitan, this was an added bonus. Castle Rock is a vintage decorated restaurant, that's fun to be in. There is a wonderful variety on the menu to satisfy all guests.

The places I needed and wanted to go to were all within -20 minutes from each other. The area is nice and walkable, some family marts and Lawsons on the way if you need to stop for a quick snack or need to pick something last minute. Many places to eat just put what you like on the gps and go. Be wary that not of the places will have parking available.

A great location in between the bustle of Naha/Chatan and some of the major attractions up north. The area is a good mix of traditional Okinawan culture and modern tourist expectations. There are a lot of great places to eat—Minami sushi, Mainichi Shokudo, Obbligato, Sabroso—satisfying both conservative and adventurous eaters. You definitely need a car as things are spread out and some of the boutique hotels that have recently started popping up are usually tucked in hard to access areas.

Relaxed calm atmosphere, contrary to adjacent American village. Lots of small local places with great food and bars. Great for surfers and divers and people who simply enjoy quiet vacation by the beach.

2. finding appropriate information about the local sights
3. access to local restaurants
4. no people to be seen on the street, no taxis either
5. beach is good, but surroundings and welcome by locals is very rare and limited. Would not recommend for travellers who never been to Asia, Japan or have difficulties in organising their own days.
