The lodge is quite large and has a good infrastructure as a result. The bar and restaurant areas are spacious and nicely decorated with black-and-white murals depicting African animals. We stayed for three nights to explore Amboseli. The Kilimanjaro revealed itself on one morning, which was a great gift. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable.

It's a beautiful remote place just outside the gates of amboseli. Quiet and off the grid . The stinkbugs were a nuisance. They flew into our tent and dive bombed us at night. In the restaurant there are hundreds on the ceiling and they drop onto your table while you are eating They don't bite but they are a nuisance. But it's Africa so we have to be understanding as they help with the crops nearby . We were upgraded to the giraffe suite so I really appreciated that . Everyone was so nice and the food was outstanding.

Staff is warm and very welcoming people, Ms Magret the receptionist, Mr Fred at the restaurant, and all the staff were a great pleasure to meet.
