We were looking for a quiet location that was close enough to the action. That's exactly what we found at Pierre's Place. It was in the perfect location to walk to all of the restaurants and beaches. There was attention to detail in the little things that make it extra special that you don't normally find. The Bluetooth speaker was a nice touch for sitting out in the screened in patio where we drank our coffee every morning. The bed was very comfortable. Good air conditioning, secure door, everything felt very safe and secure.

Perfectly positioned and kitted out for a relaxing beach holiday. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and the room was very comfortable for a 15 night stay. We didn’t have a car and walked or took the bus to see the island. There were so many restaurants within walking distance we will have to come back to try them all!

Great location in the gourmet food town of Grand Cade. Worth a trip there just to try the excellent restaurants. Hevea is under going renovations that promise to be amazing when finished. The new owners are very helpful and friendly. Great find!

The 1st floor of this beautiful property is managed by real estate agent Henri Tombeck ( IMMO CARAIBES) Beware of this fraudulent man.  For the month after booking the property I was calling, texting and e-mailing to him. Received no reply. 18 hrs prior to our flight, Henri texted, that the property is double booked and he forced us to stay in another his apartment in Cole bay. This appeared to be 1 bedroom deteriorated dirty property with no beach close by, no air conditioning, broken TV and stove.  Apparently, Henri manipulates owner's properties to gain double and triple profit.  He will ruine your vacation with no sorry or merci.  First 3 nights were really upsetting for my family, until we moved to Grand Case. The owner definitely should fire this guy. The property is completely discredited by this agent.

Location!!!! This is right on the beautiful beach. The balcony is right above the water and you hear the sound of the waves. The location could not be better than this.

This spot is a great getaway for couples.

This spot is a great getaway for couples. The location which is a walking distance down the beach from Grand Case is away from the crowds and tourists of the southern part of St. Maarten. The french food, pastries, and local foods are delicious. The people are very friendly and helpful with directions and inviting.

Unexpected stay -- definitely rent a car, had I been better prepared I would have done so, as taxi rates if traveling solo are expensive. Amazing beaches, calm tranquil waters. There is a free beach sandwiched between two paying beaches. The Anse Marcel Beach Resort offers 2 seats + umbrella for 30 Euros + lunch (its connected to a restaurant). Local dinner at Del Arti (Italian); and took taxis to Grande Case & Orient Bay for the other 2 nights. Some of the best French food this side of the Atlantic.

Quiet area with beautiful views from the hillsides.

Quiet area with beautiful views from the hillsides. Easy enough to get around, with beaches, shops, and adequate number of restaurants nearby. Easy access to Anse Marcel, Orient Bay, Grand Case and ferry to Pinel. Love the pizza restaurants, like Pepe's and the Super U is great for shopping when staying at a villa.

Everything about this apartment is perfect.

Everything about this apartment is perfect. It’s just a minute from the beach, and the swimming pool is even closer. The apartment itself is very comfortable and located within a short walking distance of restaurants and supermarkets where you can easily buy all the necessary items. The host is wonderful and very kind, always available, and quick to help or answer any of your questions.

We stayed on the French side of the island in Grand Case...

We stayed on the French side of the island in Grand Case which has the best food available on the island. All the people that we met were very nice, helpful, friendly and polite. Wide range of accommodations, attractions to please anyone. Beautiful relaxing Island. young or older lots of choices of things to do, places to go and great food across the Island.

The water was beautiful and the apartment on a perfect location but there’s still so much destruction from Irma on Grand Case. Also lots of businesses closed. Not many stores or restaurants to stroll by

I loved Anse Marcel!

I loved Anse Marcel! The beach was fantastic as it was very calm, and never crowded. A little marina with shops was within walking distance, and larger grocery store app. 10 minute drive. The ferry terminal for Pinel Island was also a short drive away, providing a fun day trip with great hiking, beautiful scenery, restaurants and resort beach area. It was also possible to book other tours and day trips from the marina as well. Fabulous hiking in the area, but I would have liked to see more signage for the locations.

We enjoyed Orient Bay.

We enjoyed Orient Bay. The beach is golden sand, the water warm. The weather was quite windy, but with two wing foilers in our group, this was welcome. There are plenty of restaurants with good quality food and excellent service.

Saint Martin is very beautiful, and the weather was also...

Saint Martin is very beautiful, and the weather was also perfect. Once we were familiar with the area, we were able to navigate around with our rental car. The traffic on Airport Road was always congested.

We love Orient Beach after visiting for 12 yers.

We love Orient Beach after visiting for 12 yers. Shops, restaurants, bars, staff, scenery....all make for a wonderful and memorable vacation experience. Everthing including Marigot and Phillipsburg fairly close by.
