I was surprised by how large and well equipped the unit was. Really it's like a small modern apartment, with a kitchenette, coffee machine, all the necessities. There is a mini-mart downstairs and small restaurant for pizza, coffee, breakfast. I also saw a laundry room. Good A/C and very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom amenities. They stock the unit with a few carafes of filtered water and there is a dispenser in the lobby.
It's in a residential area which I found pretty cool, by then I was used to the normal soundscape of dogs, roosters, and people living their lives. Maybe that's not for everyone, but for my last night in Baja it felt like a proper send-off.
To access the rooms you go through a gate with a keypad and find yourself walking through a surprise lush garden oasis.
The staff are so lovely! As are the ladies who make the delicious breakfasts and the man who preps the pizzas.
It was a quick Uber from and to the airport.

The location is excellent, right on the beach. You can see the ocean from both pools and most rooms! The restaurant is very accommodating, especially for large groups. The food was delicious! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

San José del Cabo is going through major construction on highway 1. Therefore, the traffic congestion is bad. You will be delayed getting through traffic up to 30 minutes. They are building a roundabout through the center of town during the day. So you can imagine the delays.
Once you get to the beaches you will be impressed with the serenity and peace. However, there's a big difference between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. More pristine and the Lover's Arch, along with the Sea of Cortez in the Marina and the Pacific Ocean sunsets you won't get in San José del Cabo.

Nice city who likes American stye like New Mexico feeling. Very good area near marina - we travelled with boat to see humpback whales, saw sea lions in the pier. Nice food in pier restaurants. Near Marina lot of sellers...if you spend 1-2 hours - you will get annoyed, but all of them understand "no".

San Jose del Cabo feels very overdeveloped. And I understand that Cabo San Lucas is even worse! This just feels like a slice of America in the middle of Mexico. I had a much better time visiting Loreto and La Paz which both feel like Mexico. Los Cabos is great for people who want to go to a resort hotel and not deal with Mexico.

Fabulous boutique hotel with a really cool/arty feel to it. Staff were very cheerfull and very helpfull. Setting is great and definately hop on the boat over to the beach club for the day (literally 2 mins) . It's only 25 mins to SJD airport. Uber's were readily available. Rooftop infinity pool has great views out to sea and over the marina where pelicans and sea lions play with great margaritas too.
