Offering a day spa, a restaurant and a swimming pool with a swim-up bar, Rapopo Plantation Resort is located on the Island of New Britain. All rooms boast free WiFi and a balcony offering sea views. The staff were beautiful. Boina Tuna! My family and I had lovely comfortable rooms. We are so proud to come home and have a resort like this available for some down time. LOVE the outdoor Oceanside balcony.

Kokopo Beach Bungalow Resort offers modern bungalows with private balcony boasting views of Blanche Bay. Guests have access to a private beach, restaurant, bar and outdoor swimming pool. I did not have breakfast, but for the location yes, I really like the location because it is closer to the beach and also the other places like Market, shops, Air Niugini and safe for me and quite too.

I was referred by a friend who had stayed there. Was skeptical really, but being the adventurer that I am, I decided to give it a try. In the end, it was the best decision - I got an authentic and genuine experience my life - an exotic place with flora and founa, and friendly happy carefree people with a rich culture and history. An oasis of Paradise in a country often negatively tainted. A stark contrast to what is in the media. To Simon and the folks, you are offering something that adventurers like me cannot get anywhere else so please keep it up. Don't change anything even if the times change. I will definitely be back as I am now part of the family (just one of the many things you don't get anywhere else - traditional adoption to be part of the family).
