This place is great for a family. The nature, the house itself and the host, I think these three are hard to find to be in such harmony. We are pleased by the hospitality of the host. The house is warm and cozy, we do felt at home during our stay.

The studio is very nice and cozy with a big comfortable double bed and small kitchen equipped with all you may need, spatious bathroom and balcony. The owner provided parking in the property and allowed to use washing machine that was on the other floor of the property. Rich breakfast of local food that was left in the fridge for self-service. Easy self check in-check out. Property in 5 min. walk from the center of the town. Great stay! Highly recommended. Thank you, Owner!

First of all, the location is amazing — right in the centre. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. But above all, the food was outstanding: both breakfast and dinner offered a great selection, high-quality ingredients, and perfectly seasoned dishes. Highly recommend!

We did a whistle-stop tour of Trollhattan in the evenings of...
We did a whistle-stop tour of Trollhattan in the evenings of the 3 days we were working and on the morning of the day we travelled back. In that time we fell under the spell of the place.
If you like industrial heritage and water combined with nature and clean fresh air, this is the place for you. Travelling in late may we found the temperature to be about 2 degrees C under our Lancashire temperatures for the same period. The place is spotlessly clean.
We enjoyed the bridges, of which there are many, the Saab museum and the forests on the mountains were amazing, with an awesome view over the valley to the massive lake that you would think could be an ocean.

Very nice and peaceful suroundings, particulary at Ronnum Herrgård were vi stayed 2 nights. Only appr. 15 minuter by car to Vänersborg and Trollhättan.
The service at Ronnum Herrgård was extremely good, nice and helpful people and a very good restaurant.
Can well recomend this place for owenighting to my friends.

One of my favorite cities in Sweden.
One of my favorite cities in Sweden. The lock complex is super interesting and there is so much to wander around. The complex is huge! Also it is really nice to have the nature directly next to the river and thus have the historical heritage and the nature close to each other.
