The team were very friendly. It was convenient and what we were expecting. They gave my son a small gift for Christmas. It was a lovely few days.

It was a great stay in Residence Inn Milford. Thank you to the hotel staff. They are all friendly and very helpful (especially the ladies in the reception). I love the room that we stayed in - clean, comfy beds, etc. (Thanks a lot to Akeem Davis, I truly appreciate it) Breakfast was great. Housekeeping staff and maintenance were quick in responding to our requests. Location and the parking are excellent. The room is spacious and comfy. We would love to come back.

This room was great. Two bedroom , two bath suite. It had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving dinner. Nice sized table, utensils, plates, fridge with working ice maker and a dishwasher. It was spacious and comfy. Friendly staff and delish breakfast. Couldn’t ask for more.

Milford is very picturesque, with historical sites and miles of beachfront on Long Island Sound. Autumn offers a beautiful display of colorful foliage. The very large tree lined green in the center of Milford is often the site of concerts and craftshows. Thousands of lights decorating the gazebo and many trees on the green at Christmas time are beautiful. Snow and horse drawn buggy rides, carolers, and the holiday spirit complete the Winter Majesty.

The hotel was nice, but the service was terrible.
The hotel was nice, but the service was terrible. Checked in Saturday. Went to a funeral, came home, changed clothes and went to my sister house. Before I left the hotel I put my suitcase in my car. Left my fruit bag, cake and my medicine I have to take before bedtime. Came back someone had came in my room and took everything I left @ 5 in the evening after I left to go to my sister. No, checkout was not until Sunday morning. Call front desk and a staff brought everything back to me. That was terrible and a little scary. I made sure to put my chain on the door afterwards when I was inside ☹️

We were in the area for a Sacred Heart University event. The hotel's location makes it a good choice for either SHU or Fairfield University events. Plenty of choice of restaurants and handy grocery store .

staff was very pleasant from beginning to end of stay the hotel was very clean , was fully booked when we got there so it was a lot of people every where which works out well for any hotel, but if you want a little privacy it could be a bit much but I did like /dislike it was so many people in the pool an Jacuzzi but I did like that it was music playing when I was trying to relax in Jacuzzi . I went down to get a drink from the food area for my spouse an I was able to get two complementary drinks which I thought was nice of the supervisor to do which he didn't have to over all I enjoyed my stay an had a wonderful weekend

The room was not very clean.
The room was not very clean. We had no internet service, the Tv did not work. The bathroom was dirty. The towels were the size of hand towels not big enough to dry off. The shower handle was broken. The fact that the motel charged us twice after we left was not acceptable at all. I had to file for a refund. We did get our money back, but it was a hassle. I will never return to another place like this

Upscale picturesque town great for strolling, boutique shopping and just watching the wildlife on the sidewalks and on the inlet. Shops have high quality goods - in hip, urban styles at NYC prices. Still, even the window shoppping is fun. For super deals check out the Church thrift shop - treasures abound.

Stratford was the closest we could get to Yale for...
Stratford was the closest we could get to Yale for graduation weekend. It was a nice location, just down the road from Milford, a quaint town with cute restaurants and a fun little ice cream shop on the water. We visited the beach not too far away and enjoyed collecting shells.

I would not stay here again the bed sheets was stained I ask for another set of sheets and they couldn't give me any cause house keeping was not there so the girl gave some thin sheets but the bed was so hard I couldn't sleep and when I got up my body was so sore I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Being in Shelton was very convenient because you were 15 to 20 minutes away from other cities. There is one big strip mall with tons of food options. There is an amazing arcade and liquid nitrogen ice cream shop.
