I went for two days for a wedding.

I went for two days for a wedding. There is not much to do here. The nightlife is practically non existent and the antique shopping is not great. Apart from the large main road that runs through the city there is not much else except a bunch of fast food restaurants and chain sit downs. I tried what I think is a local restaurant called Toro. It is suppose to be a nicer Spanish restaurant. It wasn't bad but wasn't really great either and pretty expensive for what it was. The ambiance was not there or the quality, but the service was great. Everything also closes very early. The downtown is alright but again not really much to do. I enjoyed the Downing Museum although it is quite small. The arboretum is pretty and a nice place to sit and read but it was not exactly what I was expecting. I wasn't wowed by it and frankly it could use a bit of upkeep in some areas. Not a place I would take a vacation here, but if you are passing through the state and need a safe nice place to stay I would recommend it. I also would visit the Mammoth Caverns National Park. That was something I wanted to do but was unable as they are closed during this government shut down. I think that would be something to add to your must do list when in the area.

Check in was easy and the staff was very helpful.

Check in was easy and the staff was very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The stay was short but was able to get some sleep and breakfast was amazing. Coffee is ready anytime. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will be returning every time I’m coming through the area.
