holyoke is only a few minutes from Northampton, which is what I was there for. Northampton has so much good food, culture, excellent bookstores, funky shops, eco-conscious vibe, and diversity where you can have Moroccan food for breakfast, go to a pie shop nearby for lunch, and have excellent creative cocktails later on if you want to. The general area is great for outdoor meanderings, with so many adorable and visit- worthy towns and places nearby

Family trip which is always great - haven't really gotten up here since before the Pandemic so a lot of me trying to catch up - and I used to live and work in Springfield so got to see changes to WNEU and got to see my grand nephew graduate. I had family driving me so ok. If I had more time, would have liked to have gotten up to Amherst where I once lived and went to school. Mostly see relatives is great.

It's my hometown so I am biased!
It's my hometown so I am biased! The Basketball Hall of Fame is wonderful to visit, even if you aren't a basketball fan. My great grandfather built the municipal group downtown Springfield which includes the Campanile - make sure you drive by it. Across the street is historic Old First Church built in 1819 - Daniel Webster lay in state there. It was my church and my husband and I and my parents were married there! Go up State Street to the Library and Museums, the Quadrangle - especially the George Walter Vincent Smith museum, a real gem, and the Dr Seuss statues, of course. Forest Park is a beautiful part to explore on Sumner Ave. In W. Springfield be sure to see a show at The Majestic Theater if possible - both local professional and NY actors are cast in productions. Beautiful old homes on Maple Street- make a right off of State Street before the museums & library to access it. Springfield is a good place to stay to do day trips to Quabbin Reservoir, Northampton with its wonderful shops and Smith College and even the Berkshires with the towns of Lenox and Stockbridge. Canyon Ranch Spa is in Lenox. Longmeadow is a beautiful town to visit just up 91 one exit. And in downtown Springfield on William St just between Columbus Ave and Main St is Frigo's - a "must go to" for a great Italian lunch to take out or grab a table there, there aren't many tables though! Bring home their bread crumbs and some special cheese! The MGM casino is there, but I'm not a gambler so don't go myself, but can be fun if you like that.

I loved it.
I loved it. I had a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and a living room with sofa king size bed. Free breakfast with plenty of choices. Friendly staff. Gym, swimming pool. Good location, close to movie house and shopping stores and restaurants.

the only good thing about this motel was that it was close...
the only good thing about this motel was that it was close to many restaurants. other than that, i would not recommend this motel to anyone under any circumstances. The room was unkept, smoke detector was missing, only had wires remaining. There were roaches coming out of the bathtub drain and under the beds. I found fleas on my clothes and on the bed under the sheets. I got this motel when my friend booked the room for the pickleball tournament we had, and since we got there later in the evening it was get some sleep and see how the room is for the night. knowing what we know now, we will never rent a motel 6 again!

I've been really impressed by this hotel.
I've been really impressed by this hotel. The staff is extremely welcoming, and in what feels a genuine sort of way. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are perfectly appointed and the beds are really comfy. I could not have asked for more with this stay.
It's uplifting to come across a place that truly cares about the details. This is hospitality done right.

Was not good the hole time i was there and I did not get any sleep i woke up to use the bathroom and there was roaches everywhere from big to the little baby ones and found some in the fridge and also other places it is infested with roaches all over the place. So I left the lights on while trying to sleep they still was out I went to report it they just looked at me and said have a good day in that they would look into it after I showed them the pictures and videos to prove it..i never experienced this at this motel before and this will be my first n last time!!!
