We were passing through Chattanooga and stop here for 1 night. Newly remodeled hotel just started with modern design. Hotel, rooms, lobby everything looking modern design. Staff was so friendly made our check in quick and smooth. Overall very clean nice budget friendly hotel

As what i would class as 3* it was good value for money. The location was excellent and although just off of a main road, it was very quiet in-room. Breakfast had a fairly good choice of items, waffles, oatmeal, fruit etc. There is a small outdoor pool which wasn't open during our stay. Parking was free, which makes a refreshing change. We found the staff very friendly and helpful.

Chattanooga surprised us in the best way.

Chattanooga surprised us in the best way. There's so much to see and do that we couldn't fit it all into one trip. My favorite experiences were the museums and the Incline Railway. We also wanted to visit Ruby Falls at night, the aquarium, and the zoo, but we'll have to save those for next time. That's just one more reason to come back. We can't wait to visit again!

Good place to stay clean room quiet and no drugs or anything dangerous.non smoking and smoking rooms available that's a plus (I'm a smoker and not many places have smoking rooms) staff was nice and helpful

Getting around Hixson is very easy, as far as road...

Getting around Hixson is very easy, as far as road accessibility, but the GPS seems to go off just a little bit every now and again. But the re-routing was not bad and it was easy to get back on the right track. I was here for a specific event and didn't do any outside touring, but it is so close to Chattanooga and there is a lot to do there.

As a first time visitor, I found more than enough to do.

As a first time visitor, I found more than enough to do. Looking forward to returning. I enjoyed the cave with Ruby Falls in it. I visited the Chattanooga Choo Choo which was fun. Easy to navigate the area.

The long, winding drive up puts you in a different part of the world with great views and its own little community of restaurants. Enjoyed our stay, the sunsets, the birds and meals at local places like Massey's Kitchen and Lalito's Mexican.

Walkable location with easy access to restaurants and local breweries. Chattanooga is continuing to with its renaissance and in my opinion will only continue to develop as a great city to visit and spend time.

There are lots of activities for young and old.

There are lots of activities for young and old. Outdoor activities top the list with the mountains, the national park, caves, river, and more. You can avoid the Chattanooga crunch (crowded) and stay in Fort O and be only minutes away. Lots of food choices, but Fort O is more "chain restaurants" and economy dining. However, there is lots of southern cuisine locations all over the area. Chattanooga is full of mid to upper scale places with very good chefs. I'd recommend Public House if you are looking for fine dining, and Boathouse Rotisserie for a nice meal on the river. These are just 2 of many spots for foodies.

We really didn't see much of Hixson - we got to the motel...

We really didn't see much of Hixson - we got to the motel after dark and left as soon as we packed up and ate breakfast. If travelers want to be close to the sights in Chattanooga, they might consider a motel closer in to Chattanooga.

We chose Ooltewah because we were visiting friends who live there. It was a good location, close to Chattanooga. We ate at the Local Goat which was very good. We had also wanted to eat at Il Primo, but it wasn't open on Sunday.

Chattanooga was one of our favorite stops.

Chattanooga was one of our favorite stops. I would have been glad to stay an additional day, to explore even more. Chattanooga seems to have everything one could want, from a great urban artsy district to a variety store on a riverboat to a wonderful older thrift shop in a more industrial part of town. We had a wonderful meal at Sugar's and loved feeding the goats. The riverfront was a great place to walk and explore. We visited several cities in Tennessee, during our weeklong road trip. Chattanooga was one of our top favorites.
