The drive was easy to get around, nice areas downtown, had a great time with music and good vibes especially at the Gather Cola. Missed the Farmers Market on Saturdays but heard that it is a great place to go.

Older town has most of what you need.
Older town has most of what you need. Located near bigger areas so travel was 15 mins to most things. Nice to be out of the crazy Cloumbia traffic but close enough to enjoy shopping and venues Cloumbia.

Dentsville seemed like a convenient area with plenty of places nearby to eat, shop, and get what you need. Getting around by car was fairly easy, and there were several restaurants and other places to visit in the surrounding area. Although our hotel experience was extremely disappointing, I would not judge the entire Dentsville area based on what happened at one property.

Representation and reputation should be important. Apparently the hotel doesn't have a problem with hiring drug addicts to represent them. So no I'm not coming back. I'm telling the people I associate with don't go to this hotel. Especially when you arrive in the parking lot. You see people in their cars doing drugs and the parking lot is smelling like a Marijuana festival. The front desk clerk. He didn't even sanitized his hands. I had to clean off my driver's license. To remove the weed smell off..... Plus I didn't trust handing over my credit card. Especially trying to charge my card triple the amount of my stay. No thanks.

It was the worst experience I had from a hotel.
It was the worst experience I had from a hotel. I still haven’t heard from the management regarding my refund. The hotel was filthy and looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for days. I took pictures. I left 1 hour after check in to a nearby hotel.

My first time in Columbia South Carolina, it was an experience I stayed close to Main Street which is close to I believe college so there was a lot of college nightlife which was fun. To experience a new cuisines very nice do you recommend 10 out of 10.

Before checking in 8/3 Booking.com did not respond to my many requests to cancel day 8/5 and refund me my money. We checked out 5AM 8/4 still no response from Booking.com regarding my refund!
Cayce's walkways are filthy and stained, The ice machine in the check in office had dirt and what seems to be liquid mold growing in it, The pillowcases were clean. however, the stench from the pillow themselves was unbearable, terrible stench, I requested two additional towels from the front desk and was refused. Two towels haw to do for my son, two grandsons and I. We found toilet tissue that was enough for one use.

While we have been to Columbia before to visit family we enjoyed the zoo, the Soda City Market is a walkable events on the weekends with local crafts, vendors, food, and drinks and it's a must in the summer. We also went to the South Carolina fair and enjoyed that as well. There's many things to do and see. Lots of history and culture as well. Highly recommend Railroad BBQ for great ribs, brisket, chicken, and pulled pork.

Good location if one is visiting Congaree Natl Park, which is an excellent stop even for a short time. Gas and food options are good in immediate vicinity of the intersection of I-26. Traffic through Columbia can be brutal so if you're traveling east-to-west and staying overnight it might be better to get a place on the west side of the city. For some reason the prices of all lodging in and around Columbia seem inflated for what you get... even on the discount sites.
