The room was wonderfully clean and had everything we needed. Staff were top notch. Smiling while working. Approachable and knowledgeable about what to do in Gaylord and surrounding areas for fun shopping and dining. We stayed 9 days and it felt like a beautiful chalet. Warm and cozy

our flight was late so we were late but they were super nice about it. I hate being scolded by a hotel for being late reason why I drove to Gaylord further instead of going to Grayling because that hotel hassled me. Glad I did Gaylord is a great place and seeing the elks in the am was awesome!

We love Gaylord. We have camped out there three times.
We love Gaylord. We have camped out there three times. Just beautiful. Downtown Gaylord has many restaurants and grocery stores. But, what makes it special is that ln iess than one hour, we can get to the west and Lake Michigan. We have used Gaylord for a starting point for many day trips: Petoskey, Mackinac City, Little Traverse Bay, Traverse City, and Torch Lake. We love the area.

We were coming from Indiana to visit the pictured rocks in Munising. Gaylord was a great place to stay half way to our destination. The hotel was cheaper than if we had been closer to the lakes, so we saved money by staying in Gaylord.
